Summer Preview

Oooooh, 4 weddings and a funeral.

Well the funeral is a waste of time. We all know Salem is the land of the living dead, but the four weddings.

I'd be excited that Shawn and Belle are returning but really 15 minutes of screen time over the week isn't enough to keep my interest.

The fact I'm locked in my home till a vaccine is developed is the only reason this show is still being watched.
 
A few things I read on another site:

Shawn and Belle come to take Claire back to Hong King, but she wants to stay make amends; we don't know if she means it. She is fixated on Ciara's wedding.

Lani is pregnant, but doesn't know if she wants to be (which is completely out of character for her since all she talks about is losing her baby, so they discuss terminating it - my comment)

Allie is back, grown into a Sami Jr. and causing problems. She turns up on Uncle Eric's doorstep and havoc ensues.

Steve is ready to tell Kayla he wants her back, but just at that moment, he sees Justin proposing.

Ben doesn't want to get married until he can buy a real diamond, which he has been saving for, but gets involved in Jake's drama.

While Chad and Abby are in Florida (no word on the kids), Chad will come back for Gabi's trial to try to make sure she gets put away.

Brady wants to ruin Titan as revenge for what Victor did

Sarah is done with Xander, but still plays her game with Brady

Gabi still forcing herself on Jake, which gets her in trouble with a dangerous situation with those goons who are chasing him. In order to help, Jake has to enlist the help of his ex - someone named Gwen, who is described as mischievous (So, if he has enough of a past to have an ex, maybe NOT Stefan?)

No mention of Vivian, Bonnie, Kristen (yippee), Jack/Jennifer, Will/Sonny, or Orpheus

I thought Allie was with Lucas and she had a drinking problem when last we heard? Or was that something I dreamed up? Either way, if Lucas doesn't arrive soon after, not interested.

Evidently Chad & Abby's kids will be staying with Jack & Jen. Yes, Surprised Lucas is not with Allie when she comes to town to bug Uncle Eric, unless he stayed for a bit to help deal with johnny/sydney, since Sami cannot be bothered to look after her own children.
Lucas will be coming, tho.

That is correct. But Lucas went to Italy to be with Allie (and the other kids). At a different point, Rafe went to Italy to help Sami with Johnny who was also acting out.

Days spoiler. In the Eric/Nicole section of the summer preview, there’s a line at the end re: Allie’s return that I haven’t seen posted elsewhere:

“Besides Eric and Nicole, it will ultimately pull Lucas and Sonny and Will and Rafe into her story.”
 
Allie is back, grown into a Sami Jr. and causing problems. She turns up on Uncle Eric's doorstep and havoc ensues. [Like mother, like daughter. Hopefully, this means that fan-favorite Lucas will be back for an extended period of time.]

Ben doesn't want to get married until he can buy a real diamond, which he has been saving for, but gets involved in Jake's drama. [Somebody, should tell poor, penniless Ben about the Salem money tree.]

While Chad and Abby are in Florida (no word on the kids), Chad will come back for Gabi's trial to try to make sure she gets put away. [Chad is wasting his time. Even if Gabi is sentenced to prison, she won't be there long. No Salem insider ever stays in the slammer very long. Just ask Hope, Nicole, Lucas, Will, Xander, Maggie, etc.]

Brady wants to ruin Titan as revenge for what Victor did. [Good luck with that. Nobody will take Brady seriously now that it's known that he was the total fool who actually had an affair with the infamous sicko, Kristen DiMera.]

Sarah is done with Xander, but still plays her game with Brady. [Xander should be glad that he dodged the Sarah bullet. As for Brady, his affair with creepy Kristen shows that he's dumb enough to fall for anything that loudmouth, hard-drinking Sarah has in mind.]
 
I'm glad Allie is back, she is the one kid of Sami's I wanted to see SORAS'ed. I'm just disappointed that while Lucas will be around, it's not permanent.

Since Allie is said to be of age, I'm guessing they kept her close to the ages of Ciara and Claire. But if she is a Sami Jr it might be too much with Claire also around. Also, who are they going to pair them up with? Both are related to most of the town. I kind of fear Claire will be after Ben. After all, she and Ciara always seemed to compete for the same guys (Theo, Tripp).

None of the weddings intrigue me. Ben and Ciara, while cute togethe, should get their life and careers in order before getting married (not living in a hotel room they can's afford), Eli and Lani are boring, and Eric and Nicole should have married before this. As for Steve/Justin/Kayla, Kayla needs to decide which man she wants (not just choosing Justin because she's mad at Steve not picking her).
 
Glad about Allie coming back as an adult. Ha! Ha! So because she is Sami's daughter, doesn't mean she has to cause trouble. This means the writers are already preparing us for repetitive action. Really? Give the girl a chance.

Does anyone know who is playing Allie?
