Drew Donovan is Shane's twin brother. He was an ISA agent who went bad and became one of Stefano's henchmen. He went by the name Iago. At one point, he kidnapped Carrie. He also killed Benjy's mother, Ellen Hawk.

I believe he was shot or badly injured and scurried off into the night, never to be seen or heard from again.

In case I wasn't clear before, he was not killed. I was mistaken, a quick search found he left Salem alive. I wonder what brings him back to Salem? Perhaps to talk about how awesome Rafe and Hope are? :wink::wink:

Well, I for one am glad. I didn't know Drew Donnovan, but I know the actor. And I am sooooo glad he's back ! I would rather have him as Shane, but as long as he's on, I'm O.K. Now... on to Jack !

At least this is an actual character (from the 80's) and Shane's real twin, not some lookalike or surgically created doppelganger.

I loved Drew because he was so crazy. You never knew what was coming next with him.

Thanks for all the info, JS ! Funny, as, contrary to what I first thought, I was indeed watching back then. But I didn't remember Drew at all. Just remembered Shane. Then again, at that time, my English was not as good as it is today. I was, as you know, watching to learn the language.

Glad they are going to be able to use Charles Shughnessy (Shane) a bit more than I expected.

Twins on Days....Marlena & Samantha; Sami & Eric; Johnny & Allie; Shane & Drew (I think his name was Andrew...but called Drew)

Look alikes, usually by surgery......Rafe & Arnold F; Marlena & 4 clones; Stefano & the man shot while listening to opera; Hope & Princess Gina (the older one); Nicole & Helena. and while they all did not look alike except for Penelope, there is Kristen, Susan Banks, Sister Moira, their brother Tommy & the aforementioned Penelope.

As I noted.........Something Days uses a lot. LOL
