09/02, Tuesday: 1.9/2,509,000 Brady confronts Kristen about her visit with John in the hospital. Kristen insists she just wants to make things right but he's not buying it. Marlena's arrival breaks a tense moment between them, and Brady leaves. Marlena then tears into Kristen, and the two enemies air their grievances against one another. Finally, Kristen reveals to Marlena that she's not here to hurt John - she's here to save him. Earlier, Kayla explains to Eric and Marlena that since all the experts believe John's condition won't change, they will be transferring him to a long-term care facility later today. Marlena is crushed, knowing this essentially means there is no hope for him. Eric offers her support. Later, Kayla and Daniel both receive a mysterious email. Earlier, Daniel and Nicole have a literal run-in, and for a second, Daniel thinks she's leaving town for a new job. Nicole corrects that she is not accepting the offer. Nicole then gets an idea and "accidentally" lets Eric know she has a job offer in another state. Her plan backfires, and Eric explodes when he realizes she was trying to manipulate him once again. Anne comforts Theresa when she gets her annulment papers, then Theresa heads over to the Kiriakis mansion to leave Brady his copy. There, she runs into a shaken Brady (off his encounter with Kristen), who pulls her into a sudden kiss. which leads to lovemaking. Sonny works hard to get Will to understand his motivations and correct his husband on his misperceptions. Will eventually relents to Sonny's emotional pleas, and the two reconcile - and celebrate by making love.
09/03, Wednesday: 1.8/2,343,000 Kristen and Marlena meet up with Daniel and Kayla, and it's revealed that Kristen has asked Stefano to come up with an experimental drug to bring John out of his coma. However, Daniel and Kayla have received only part of the formula. They will receive the rest once Marlena has gotten Eric to agree not to testify against Kristen. Marlena is appalled, and Kristen maintains it's Stefano's wish, not hers. Marlena leaves, and Daniel and Kristen have a terse exchange. After visiting John, Marlena makes the decision to make Stefano's request to Eric. Theresa questions Brady about why he made love to her after weeks of trying to put distance between them. He avoids disclosing his encounter with Kristen, and instead vaguely says it was a one-time mistake. He apologizes for sending her mixed signals, and though hurt, Theresa plays it off like it's no big deal. While Brady goes off to visit John, Theresa heads to Club TBD, where she calls Anne to share her news about Brady. Kristen, having tracked Theresa down, overhears and prompts her to tell her more. Earlier, Eric and Nicole argue about her latest deception. Sami chimes in, and she and Nicole get into a nasty tiff. Eric drags Sami off and gets her to open up about her fears about Stefano coming back. Later, Sami returns home, where she is chilled to see Stefano's portrait back up on the wall. Meanwhile, Caroline blasts Nicole for her part in Eric not returning to the priesthood. JJ and Paige share an evening of fun and romance as they celebrate their last night of summer. While hanging out by the lake, a mysterious figure snaps photos of JJ.
09/04, Thursday: 1.9/2,506,000 Eric is stunned and upset when Marlena tells him that Stefano has a cure for John but he will only hand it over if Eric agrees not to testify against Kristen. Eric, feeling he has lost so much already, refuses and rushes out. At the church gardens, he runs into Brady, who is unaware of Kristen's machinations. Brady makes a huge, emotional apology to his brother for the way he treated him. Eric later calls Kristen, telling her they need to talk. Meanwhile, a tearful Marlena visits John, agonized over her request to Eric. Earlier, Daniel is alarmed when Brady admits he slept with Theresa but assures it was a one-time thing. Meanwhile, Kristen confronts Theresa about Brady - warning her to stay away. Theresa is not intimidated and later tells Anne she plans to use Kristen's threat to get closer to Brady. At the same time, Kristen goes to Daniel to find out more about Theresa and realizes he hates the young woman. She makes a pointed comment to Daniel before she goes, which prompts him to give Jennifer a call and make a tentative coffee date. Earlier, Hope tries to talk Jennifer into starting something with Aiden but Jennifer insists she's still not over Daniel. A tipsy Aiden overhears all this, and once Jennifer leaves, he confronts Hope. Things get a little contentious, but Aiden ends up pulling Hope into a surprising kiss. Sami is horrified when she sees Stefano's portrait back up in the mansion. She accuses EJ of working with his father but he insists he is on Sami's side. He later learns Stefano has contacted board members about a possible emergency board meeting in the event that he is allowed to return to Salem. Sami realizes he plans to oust her and Kate. EJ promises to stand by her side.
09/05, Friday: 2.0/2,512,000 Rafe meets with EJ, who secretly gives him information to help convince the judge to rule against Stefano. Rafe realizes EJ is acting against his father to protect Sami. Meanwhile, Kate gets a phone call from Stefano. He tells her the games have been fun, but they are over. Kate relays to Sami that Stefano wants revenge. The two women question Rafe about Stefano's hearing. Kate, hoping to stop Stefano from returning to Salem, lies to Rafe that Sami overheard Stefano threatening her life. Abigail gets advice from Marlena about Ben. Later, EJ tries to connect with Marlena, who blows him off. Eric rips into Kristen for using the situation with John to win her freedom, but finally agrees he will drop the charges if she gets the miracle drug to save John's life. Eric tells Marlena of his decision, and she knows what it cost him. Meanwhile, Kristen calls Stefano to make sure he sends the drug - which, it turns out, may or may not work. Jordan has a nightmare about growing up with Clyde after her mother died. She meets with Ben, who reassures her they won't let Clyde ruin their lives again. Meanwhile, Clyde learns someone is stepping on his plans. Frustrated, he arranges a meeting with this person - who turns out to be EJ. Will apologizes to Ben for possibly screwing things up for him and Abigail. Abigail later comes to visit Arianna, and there is a slight thaw between her and Will. She then goes to Ben, who accuses her of pushing him away because she was thinking of EJ.
Thanks for posting. Nice to see Days doing a tad better with the ratings, but as someone already said, it won't last, most likely, especially with the story with JJ-Paige and Eve.
