Hi to all of my fellow Salem Spectator friends. I wanted to thank you all for the prayers. Me and my Cookie are about 16 miles east of Tampa Bay, and we were very blessed to have lots of winds, and terrible rain, but avoided the worst of the storm. For this we are not only grateful but also thankful. This was the first big storm we have endured without the comfort and expertise of my sweet departed Stan.
I know he was looking down and keeping us strong. My Cookie was the best behaved she has ever been. She did not bark, and did not seem frightened by any of the unusual weather induced circumstances. I am as I said very blessed, not only to have avoided the worst of this horrible storm, but the ability to stay serene while I survived and prayed a lot.
Please continue your good thoughts and prayers for the people in areas not only here in Florida but anywhere else Helena did major damage and loss of lives. Cookie hopes all the dogs and cats, and other animals have been saved from pain and fear.
Thank you all for being part of my family. I love you all!!
