You know the other day there was a scene of Philip in a towel, which was a surprise being he has an artificial leg.......but then, maybe it is waterproof?? LOL. Just kidding.........
However, no reason why he cannot take a shower. Just put a folding chair in the tub or shower stall, facing the knobs. when sitting, remove the leg, setting it outside the area. Turn on the water, use the washcloth to clean yourself while sitting, and yes, you CAN do that. When done getting cleaned, shut off the water, grab the towel you parked just outside the tub, or shower stall.... dry what you can while sitting, ..........take the leg, attach it and leave, drying yourself completely..........or........wrap the towel around your bottom half if a guy, higher if female. Since hard for older people to stand for long periods......thus the folding chair. (Hubby had to do stuff like this when so weak). Am sure there are those here who have found ways to accomplish "bathing". And yes, hard when you live alone.
