I just cancelled my subscription last Wednesday because it was going to auto renew on Thursday. Today I got the email for this promo and I clicked through and signed in with my account info and it gave me the deal. I kind of thought they'd black out people that were former customers and so recently at least.

Honestly I'd cancel my current subscription and use a backup email address and get a year for 20 bucks if someone doesn't think they get enough value out of the monthly fee. I know it's only 8 bucks but it wasn't worth it for me.
