Paternity/Maternity Switch

Without hesitation I'd make Parker Philip's son again. Clyde blackmailed Ian to change the results (yes, the all-powerful, all-purpose Clyde was involved in Salem years before anyone knew it) because Daniel bedded his wife and was the true father of the baby that died with her. Unbeknownst to Clyde, other agents were also changing the results, so it didn't go his way.

Teen Parker comes to town with Philip, the elder of whom intends to be a thorn in Xander's side but ends up being an asset to his brother. Teen Parker (turns out Parker, Kate, Chloe, Holly, and Philip learned about the paternity before Holly was SORAS'd and nobody mentioned it in Salem) is infatuated with Sydney.

Holly develops a crush on him while trying to make Tate jealous (don't worry - they learned the paternity truth in a backstory when they were still in jumpers) but he thinks it's too close for comfort since they almost had the same dad and were birthed by the same womb.
 
I always thought it would've been a great story if Sami found out she wasn't really Marlena and Roman's child, but born of an egg that Samantha Evans donated when she was a struggling actress, and fertilized with Stefano's sperm, then implanted into Marlena when she was newly pregnant with Eric (but unaware). This was back before she got involved with EJ and still hated the DiMeras.
 
I'd make Baby Mickey Xander's daughter. They had a drunken one night stand the night that they met, easy enough to say they had another one when Eric dumped her for Nicole. Maybe they were both so drunk neither remembers, maybe Kristen drugged them, I don't care. Then we could have a plot where we find out that Mickey didn't die, she was double swapped that night.

I just want Sarah to not have a dead child, but equally do not want it to be judgey Eric's.
 
You sure have an inventive mind, Jason. I have to think about this a bit.....Cause I do want Steve Johnson to actually be the son of someone good......"up there". Hmmmmm.
 
Daniel and Summer would no longer be Maggie's kids. It never made sense since they made an entire deal out of Maggie carrying Sarah so she could understand the joys of pregnancy and birth. Older viewers remember these things. Melanie can remain Daniels, but no connection to Maggie other than friends.
 
I could not agree more. The whole egg-baby plot was nonsensical and it left Maggie with a horndog doctor as a son. Psycho Summer was much worse. Foolish Brady should have left her on the beach where he found her. In fact, anything to do with the psycho mermaid should be expunged from Salem history.
 
I would like teen Daniel Rafael show up looking for Mom or Dad and testing shows that he is actually Rafe's son through an unseen date with Nicole and Rafe.

EJ will be irate that the parents he had the child placed with explained the circumstances of his birth and where he came from. Rafe will have to deal with an angry teen who will slowly see what truly happened to him and fully embrace his father.
