This is off topic......but the preview somehow sent me on a nostalgia memory trip, no idea why. But it seems we are having a turnover in major characters & stories........Yes, of course it happens. No Bo & Hope, John & Marlena, not even Patch & Kayla. No Julie (yes, I know Doug has passed in real life), Kate or Roman, (or very little of any of them). Yes, Time marches on. I have not watched for very beginning, but am glad I did get a glimpse of Tom & Alice somewhere back in time. Kids grow up, older characters retire...........and the next generation comes to the forefront. Only the next generation isn't always willing to stick around long term.....can't blame them. Plus writers who know how to write for daytime soaps are not easy to find. Oh, I only watch Days, but now they went streaming........which means watching on computer, which is not my thing. So, am no longer a daily viewer (and I WAS a daily summary writer). I do miss being able to eat lunch while watching Days, lol. Bless you all, thank you for sticking with us. witing summaries, commenting...the show has folks checking the sites, so.......they get to know what if going over, and what is tanking. Now if they only could shorten the time between filming and viewing. LOL
