While all three Law and Order programs have been renewed for next season, Organized Crime has been dropped by NBC and will air solely on Peacock, just like what they did to Days.

This angers me, as I enjoyed watching it on a larger screen than my laptop.

The show, in my opinion, is outstanding, and it does not deserve this treatment. I am sure they will lose viewers, as they lost Days' viewers.

Just airing my grievance and informing anyone who might watch.

I don't do this, but when my son was here, and I was complaining that Days only available on streaming.....he said well you can get it big screen.......takes my TV remote..........and changed something from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2, and bingo, there was Days........to me it was a pain you know where, so I never did it later, just for one program......sorry I don't remember exact detail, but perhaps with this info you can verify it somewhere..........????

By the way, I have DISH..........so it works for me. with it.........no idea about different cable companies.

And I do have to watch Days on my computer.........Bah.......it is aggravating and annoying

I had read a couple weeks ago about Law & Order: Organized Crime being moved to Peacock. The article I read said it wasn't doing as well in the ratings as its sister shows and NBC felt it would do better on Peacock since the storylines are more serialized than regular Law & Order and Law & Order SVU, which tend to be more stand-alone episodes. I guess it's better than outright cancelling it, and it still keeps Elliot Stabler actively in the Law & Order family.

Thanks to all who offered solutions.

I had looked into all this a while ago, as I have to watch Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, et al, on laptop.

My one TV is in the living room in a cabinet. It works very well, don't want to change it, but because it is in a cabinet, I can't get to the back of it. I just can't hook up anything to it to allow for casting streaming shows to the set. I don't plan on getting a smartTV, either, so will just have to deal with laptop viewing for many shows.

I don't even have room to hook up a large monitor to the laptop, which would result in a large picture, but still force me to sit at the table where I work five days a week, so I'm stuck with this set up.

Oh, well, it is not the worst thing in the world. But it just frustrates me that we are sometimes limited despite all the options.

So........went and looked as best I could back of TV. took a flashlight, and saw what I believe is the HDMI 1 & 2 plugs, which are plugged in. Am guessing the HDMI 1 plug is activated, thus you have to use the remote to change over to 2. That is the annoying thing. Remotes should have buttons for each one,...........maybe that will come some time. My TV is large, sits on a sort of bookcase up against the wall. The case contains a huge record collection, CDs & vinyl......so cannot move it, would not even try. wayyyy too heavy.

Wilde Woman, I don't if you can put anything on top of the TV cabinet, but I found out there are
wireless monitors. You might look into that.

Thanks, Kat.

I have all my electronics in that cabinet, there is not even room for a DVR. It all needs to be near each other for connectivity.

I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and hope that more network shows offer viewing both on a TV set and streaming, not just streaming.

The tech world has grown and is still growing.

Grateful I can at least have access to a lot of sources.

I have a very old TV that has none of the various inputs, so it's only my Chromebook for me.

I will watch Elliot Stabler with my slow connection, buffering...buffering...buffering, just as I do with our story, because I love Elliot! Will I be happy about it? NO! But I will be happy that it's still going and I still have a chance to see it.

My friend - you can also connect your television to your laptop via an HDMI cable, and you can watch it that way. For years, I did this so I could watch my college football team (a smaller MAC school) on my television through my laptop connection. It's not always convenient, but it makes for a much better viewing experience.

You probably already know this, but I just wanted to be helpful.

That is so kind of you, JAKiriakis.

Unfortunately, not only can't I reach the back of the set due to it being in a cabinet, I use the laptop on a dining room table way across the room and would have to deal with a long, long cable on the carpet, a good way to trip!

I guess I am stuck viewing the way I do now, but I so much appreciate your suggestion, as do I appreciate everyone on the board providing assistance.

What a great group of people!
