DiMera Enterprises today made its purchase of the popular web search engine Ewe Search official. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but sources said the total purchase price was close to $100 million. When asked to comment, Stefano DiMera referred all calls to his son, Chad DiMera. When reached for comment, Chad DiMera stated he was too busy reading Jack Deveraux's book, but would respond at a later time.

Ewe Search creator Steve Dempsey, a long-time Salem citizen, had this to say: "When I created Ewe Search back in 1996, I never dreamed that it would turn into the industry leader of search engines."

What's next? DiMera Enterprises purchases Wikipedia, edits all DiMera-related entries to remove anything that's even vaguely critical or unflattering, and then arranges things so that nothing can be edited without the Phoenix's approval. For example:
