Salem Inn, Philip's Room - Replay of Jada as she arrests Vivian, who wants a lawyer. Vivian eludes her, bang.

DiMansion/Horton House - EJ/Chad have a phone call. EJ is thankful Chad is alive, can't imagine what he's going through. Chad's glad that he never told the kids. EJ will prosecute the Greenes. EJ and Chad have a circular conversation, EJ hears a noise in the foyer, ends the call.

Salem's sudden Side-by-side Jail Cells - Cat has feelings for Chad. Mark can't believe Abigail's remains are gone. They are maybe sure that probably their mother is likely dead, perhaps. They are worried about telling Aaron and Felicity that Cat is their sister. They worry the kids know about the arrest. Aaron arrives, he begs Mark to tell him he didn't try to kill Chad DiMera.

Police Station Establishing Shot, Main/Detective Area - Replay of Rafe advising Jada not to let Vivian out of her sight. Jada shouts at Vivian, Rafe hears a bang.

DiMansion Foyer - Ivan enters and knocks over a vase. EJ comes out to investigate. Gabi knocks, enters. She's here to see Stefan. She and EJ trade snipes, he lets her go upstairs.

DiMansion Upstairs - Ivan sneaks around. He takes Stefan's clothes and packs his suitcase, per Madame's wish.

Salem Inn, Philip's Room - Rafe is outside, calls for Jada. He kicks in the door. Vivian is heaped on the floor, Jada is calling an ambulance. Vivian, surprisingly strong per Jada, tried to steal her gun and in the struggle was knocked unconscious.

Horton House - Chad thinks about his Cat confrontation. Steve comes in and asks how he is? Cat took advantage of Chad. Chad needs to talk to Clyde. Steve tells him Clyde escaped.

Cozy Little Jail Hallway - Aaron is upset, Mark tries to scold him for being there. Aaron won't be disciplined, wants an explanation for this insanity. Mark explains he had to do this or Mom would die. Aaron says Mom is dead. He notices looks being exchanged between Mark and Cat, whom he recognizes as the "lady from the park". Mark tells him that Mom survived the car crash, and a drug lord named Clyde Weston got his hands on her and forced him to try to kill Chad in Paris. Aaron is ready to get Clyde Weston and make him pay.

Hospital Establishing Shot, Vivian's Room - Vivian has a head bandage and wants to file a complaint with Commissioner Hernandez. He directs her to Jada, the acting commissioner. Vivian is handcuffed to the bed.

DiMansion Hallway/Stefan's Room - Ivan leaves a letter. Gabi engages in a flashback to receiving the divorce papers, pausing. She enters the room and looks around; Ivan is in the closet (?). There's a letter to EJ, who enters and asks her to read it. The letter alleges that he can't stand the sight of either of them. They leave. Ivan emerges, compliments Vivian's forgery.

DiMansion Study - Gabi is sitting at the desk. EJ comes in and tries to comfort her. She gets angry.

Jail - Mark doesn't want Aaron involved. Aaron won't take orders since Mark's incarcerated. Cat interferes, the truth is revealed that she's his sister, Cat. Apparently she was in the accident, too, and barely survived. Aaron and Cat have some happy memories as he realizes she's telling the truth. Aaron can't believe she's in Salem with them. Where's mom? He wants to see her.

Horton House - Steve and Chad blah blah about Clyde, and guess who calls Chad?

Undisclosed Area of Horton Town Square (looks like it, probably not) - Clyde taunts Chad via cellular telephone. Clyde has a proposal for Chad, realizes Chad is with Steve, gives him a code to indicate he's in. Chad is in. (We don't hear what Clyde wants, but Chad gets Abigail's corpse or whatever.)

Salem Inn - Ivan can't locate Madame, whose room is sealed off.

Hospital Nurse Area - Jada tells Rafe that Vivian is with her lawyer, Murphy is guarding them. Rafe admires Jada. He worried about her when he heard the shot. She worried about him "all those months" he was in a coma. He'll never take her for granted. He pulls out the ring box and proposes. It's not what he had planned, but time stops for no one. He shows her Helda's ring, he talks about how she was heartbroken when his marriages fell apart, and instructed him to give the ring to the woman he would spend the rest of his life with. He asks her to marry him. She accepts after a beat. Nurse and doctor extras clap. They kiss.

Hospital, Vivian's Room - Ivan wants to bust Vivian out of confinement. She gets an update on what happened at the DiMansion.

DiMansion - Gabi signs the divorce papers.

Cozy Jail - Mark would love to take Aaron to Mom. Cat has to tell him that they don't know where she is. Mark tells him Clyde may have killed her. They are doing everything they can to find her. Aaron has to get out of there. They beg him not to do anything stupid.

Horton House - EJ tells Chad about Stefan skipping town and his marriage. EJ plans to throw the book at the Greenes. Chad doesn't care about Mark, but wants Cat to go free. END

I really enjoyed the Greene sibs jail scenes today, finally some answers that mostly made sense. Poor Aaron.

Chad is still letting Clyde control him. He never learns with this guy.

Ivan and Vivian make me happy. I hope he breaks her out again.

Thanks, Jason. Amazing that men and woman have jail cells directly across from each other! Means each can see the other using the toilet......lol.

Thought Aaron was gonna get whiplash with trying to talk to the guy, and constantly whipping around to look at Cat. Glad she finally told Aaron who she was, and was not dead. (Why did everyone pretend to have died in the auto crash???...and for all this time?) And when on phone with Chad, realized Steve was there, so tells Chad if he is in, just say "go to hell". A genius code phrase.

Then, we have Vivian under arrest, and demanding be discharged from the hospital, and be freed from the handcuffs. LOL........Really too bad we didn't get to see some of the shenanigans, only have characters talk of "what happened", Like when Rafe on phone with Jada, who is arresting a perp.... Vivian. Noise, Jada not replying to Rafe. He rushes to her hotel room, heaves himself against the door, crashes in, and there is Jada, all fine, telling how Viv got Jada's gun out of its holster, they struggled, Jada the winner. LOL

Would have loved to see that.......Yes, I know the reason we didn't.

Are we supposed to wonder when the car accident was? I thought it was a long time ago, but now I'm not sure.

Aaron remembered Cat was in accident and she had to go to rehab. Did anyone visit her when she was there?

Rafe picked an interesting spot to propose, by the nurses' station at the hospital.

Why does Clyde want Cat out of jail?

DA EJ can send the dull Greenes up the river. They are a waste of space.

Ivan can take a hike too. He was entertaining as a Bollywood mogul, but now he’s just a dull thug who serves a batty old woman. Bring back Gus.

When Madame recovers, she too can go straight to the slammer. She could be entertaining doing scenes with Victor and Gus, but by now her shtick is getting really old, really fast.

Finally, how about arranging a Clyde-Aaron meeting where the kid could batter Squirrel Stew with his lacrosse stick. He could do a lot of damage with one of those.

I get the feeling that all these former cast members were asked to return because of the big deal "60th season". So they are bringing characters viewers really liked, putting them in "story", they will come and go, is my guess, but it will be a treat to see them, remember them, etc.

I agree about Madame, and Ivan........Not working, Days. But.......this all has to be leading up to something or other. Stay tuned!

Thanks Jason. Another not terrible but also not good episode.

I know it's DUH plot but you'd think when someone has escaped from prison, has tormented your family forever, you'd put the phone on speaker!! Then editing could cut away, go to another pointless scene with someone, come back with the "go to hell" statement and then at least Steve would be in on it, because you know he's going to find out.

I would have liked to Greene family stuff but honestly I wish they would find some better writers. I don't know why they had Felicity say Cat looked like their Mom when she ran into them when it would make more sense to say she looked like their sister. The sister they never ever discuss even though I guess she was in rehab all this time. And the convo between Mark and Cat before Aaron came in was weird. This oddness where they refer to the others as sis or sister and brother. "Our sister and brother are going to be so confused." Or whatever they said is so strange.

I've written Goodreads reviews because it drives me nut when people don't write like people talk. It's like they're trying hard to sound sophisticated or something. Sorry but natural is good.

I'm very bummed that we're getting this stuff with Gabi. Just yuck that they'll have her move on with Stefan just gone like this. Having it made clear that the two really didn't want to break up and then to send Stefan packing stinks.
