Replay of Philip coming into the Pub, and telling his mother to back off. Like Kate would listen to him for a second. Lol. She gets on her high horse, protesting that Chloe is not a fit mother, is falling apart, cannot care for Parker, not like Melanie can. Philip continues to tell her to back off, she continues to go forward. He insists he is not a victim here, that he is responsible for everything that happened, even manages to throw in a crack about how Kate tried previously to kill Chloe. Kate wants him to do his best to make up with Melanie, and figures he can get her back by presenting her with Parker. Philip is furious, and once again warns his mother to back off, stay away, leave Chloe alone or she will never ever see his son again. Ever. He leaves.
Replay of Chloe sitting on Benchie as Melanie comes up behind her….(except I could swear she now comes from the other side) and starts in questioning Chloe as to why she is not home caring for Parker. Chloe assures her Parker is fine, is with Maggie, and now these two go at it verbally. Melanie is all accusatory, Chloe defensive, but finally lashes out at Melanie’s holier than thou attitude, reminding her she remembers when she first came to town, what she was like, before she became so perfect. Chloe is getting angrier as she goes on, finally telling Melanie to go mind her own life, and stay our of hers, stalking off. Melanie ponders a bit, telling herself that Kate is right, Chloe is going off the deep end. She sits on Benchie, daydreaming about holding an older Parker on her lap, telling him his mother did not love him, but she does. Out of her fantasy, Melanie tells herself she knows what she has to do, then calls Kate, telling her she is on board with her in the plot against Chloe.
Nicole answers the door, surprised to find Taylor there, shocked is more like it. She babbles about how Taylor was supposed to be gone. Taylor wants to talk, comes inside, telling Nicole she is making a mistake, that they are family, and giving Nicole back her money. Nicole doesn’t want to take it., but Taylor doesn’t want her money. (and she never once comments about Nicole in the man’s shirt, and nothing else, lol) She tells Nicole she talked to Lexie, who encouraged her to come see Nicole one more time. Nicole makes no bones about it, she wants her sister gone, and Taylor leaves.
Meanwhile the two pigs are on the phone (EJ & Rafe2) laughing over Rafe2’s roll in the hay with Sami, taking her on a magic carpet ride, yada, yada. EJ doesn’t want to hear details, asks if Sami bought it. Rafe 2 is not sure, she got up and left to get them some water, so he can’t talk long. EJ says that is o.k., Sami gets moody at times, then reminds him Rafe 1 is a sap so take it easy.
Out in the other room, Sami seems confused, keeps looking at the bedroom door. She grabs a mirror, and sees the red mark (hickey??) that Rafe put on her neck. She puts the mirror down, pulls her hair down to cover it, her cell rings. It is Carrie, returning her call. We see Carrie at a desk, they exchange a couple how are you, etc. Sami thanks her for the gift she sent for Sydney, then tells her she is not sure about things on her end. Rafe seems so different, especially in bed. Ooops, Carrie doesn’t want to hear details about that, Sami is not going to anyway. Just comments on how aggressive Rafe seemed.
Behind her, Rafe 2 has walked out of the bedroom, still buckling his belt, and overhears. Sami goes on that it just is so different, Carrie commenting that at least she knows everything is in working order. Sami hears Rafe behind her, tells Carrie she has to go, she loves her, hangs up, tells Rafe she didn’t hear him come in. Ah, but he heard her, and wants to talk about this. Sami starts to say she is sorry, but he starts yakking about all the beers he had at the party, and then claims the hospital gave him painkillers (not saying he took them, tho, lol). She scolds him, noting he knows better than to have any alcohol when taking pain meds. He notes the mark on her neck, is sorry, will make it up to her, then kisses her, seemingly very gently.
Daniel comes into Jennifer’s room as a nurse is restraining her from trying to get out of bed. (yep, big time heart surgery and she wants out of bed). Daniel orders a sedative, warns her she is supposed to have rest and no stress. Jen wants info on how Hope is doing and what happened. He will have Maggie check in with her. He leaves, we see Nathan with her next. She doesn’t want the sedative, wants to borrow his cell phone, he refuses. She asks about Stephanie, he says that is over, Jen mentions Melanie, Nathan really doesn’t want to talk about any of it. He leaves, Jennifer immediately begins disconnecting and taking off all her tubes and wires, turns off the machine, and sneaks out the door. Daniel is at the nurses’ station, talking to his bank about putting money into Chloe’s account. Jennifer faints, Daniel rushes over, and next she is back in bed, angry at the doc, who orders an addition sedative, but after a bit, Jen changes her tune, he is a good guy, she likes him, he helps people, doesn’t go on walkabouts, is still taking care of Chloe & parker. She is sort of rambling, Daniel happily figures the sedatives have finally kicked in.
Stefano is with Rafe 1 in the dungeon, still trying to get him to agree to co-operate, but not really saying how. Rafe is more or less telling him to get lost, because, what is he gonna do? Stefano brings out a picture of Allie, telling Rafe that he can make this child disappear. Rafe is furious, he would upset a little girl’s life just for his revenge plot. Stefano say he would just be restructuring her life. He warns it will be up to Rafe now, as he tears the picture in half and throws the pieces in the air, before leaving. Rafe sits, pondering, picks up the top part of the picture with Allie’s face on it.
EJ has come downstairs, getting his suit jacket on, as Nicole closes the door on her sister. She complains how her sister exasperates her, EJ asks if she invited her to the wedding. Nope, no family, she doesn’t want anyone there buy EJ and her. Kiss, kiss. She goes upstairs as EJ comments to himself he hope his father has made headway with the next stage of the plan. Nicole calls her mother, figuring she will give her a heads up on how the visit from Taylor went. She says it amounts to Taylor being the good one, and Nicole the bad guy. Now she looks puzzled, saying “you want me to do what??”
Chloe has returned to Maggie’s, finds a note saying Maggie went out with Parker. Philip arrives, she tells him Parker is not there, but he is there to see her. She gets defensive about her mothering, but Philip is sympathetic. He is not going to let her go through this alone, will be there for her. He holds a crying Chloe.
Sami comes walking along, spots Taylor and says hello. (Is there any color in which Sami doesn’t look gorgeous? She is wearing a purple coat with a purple & pale lilac scarf tied around her neck) Taylor is on her way out of town, Sami thinks she should be staying for Nicole’s wedding. Along comes Nicole, who tells Sami to butt out, and stops telling Taylor all kinds of lies about her. Sami doesn’t get into anything, just tells Nicole that Taylor should be her bridesmaid. Nicole looks a bit disconcerted at that remark.
Back to the dungeon, as now EJ comes in to see Rafe, who chides him for using a 4 year old to enact his revenge. EJ denies this, Rafe figures he & Stefano are playing bad cop, good cop. EJ assures him that is not so, then promises he is going to let him in on the plan….in fact he is going to show him. He pulls out his phone, leaves the room to make a call, then returns later. He tells Rafe that he wondered how they were going to keep Samanther from noticing Rafe was gone. This is how…..he opens the door, and in walks Rafe 2…..who grins from ear to ear, commenting that Rafe 1 is one good looking dude.
Rafe 1 is in a state of shock, disbelief as he stares at Rafe 2, who laughingly tells him he “loves your life…you have exceptional taste in women”.
EJ is laughing at the fantastic resemblance, Rafe 1 is horrified, telling Rafe 2 they must be paying him a lot of money. Rafe 2 laughs, yes they sure are. Now Rafe 1 asks if …when this is all done…they are going to turn him back. EJ starts to hustle Rafe 2 out of there, as Rafe 1 is yelling that what does he think they are going to do to him when they are done, never trust them. EJ gets Rafe 2 out, Rafe 1 telling EJ this will never work. Oh, yes, they had an exceptional plastic surgeon, great voice coach. EJ now slowly says “if it walks like a duck…quacks like a duck………dresses like a duck. Rafe interrupts..that doesn’t matter at all…..cuz it is NOT me.
