Gabi and Javi are eating lunch at Horton Town Square. Javi complains he only gets a sandwich. Gabi gives Javi a list of errands. One is an oil change that she has a punch card for. She explains after the divorce, lawyers and the investor for Gabi Chic failed her, and now she has to watch her money. She had plans to take her staff via first class to Dubai and talks about the menu. Javi's not paying attention since he's texting Leo.
Leo's outside the Brady Pub on a bench with his laptop. He's writing for the soap. His new character is Rodrigo. Joy comes out of pub. He calls her Regan. She tells him her name is Joy. She's shocked he knows her character. He tells her he's the head writer, Leo Stark. She looks at him and says she knows his name. Then says he ruined her parents' marriage.
New outside shot of hospital. Johnny's in a patient room looking at his ring. Flashback of Joy giving his ring back outside of the pub. Alex comes in and asks Johnny if he's ready? He says yes. Alex asks if he's ready for him to sleep with his wife?
Outside shot of police station. Chad is in the interrogation room when EJ brings in Cat. Cat is surprised to see Chad and says she doesn't know where Abby's body is. EJ explains he's dropping the charges against her.
Julie's coming downstairs with a tray that has a bowl on it. She yells upstairs to Doug that she'll bring him another bowl of soup. Doorbell rings. Julie opens it. It's JJ.
Javi lies to Gabi and says he's taking notes. Gabi finds out he lied on his resume that he was an assistant to someone else. Javi doesn't like being an errand boy. Gabi says he's more than that and gives him office things to do. He's typing on his phone, but it's another text to Leo in Spanish.
Leo doesn't understand what Joy is talking about. He looks at the text from Javi when his phone beeps. Leo asks Joy who are her parents? She says she's Joy Wesley and her dad Craig Wesley. Leo is shocked and didn't know her last name. Joy says Nancy was devastated when she found out her dad cheating. Leo is sorry and he's in therapy three or four times a week, says he didn't mean to be a home wrecker. Joy says she can't judge since she's a home wrecker too.
Alex explains to Johnny he meant his character sleeping with Chanel's character. Johnny says he knows what Alex meant and he needs to be more careful what he says. Johnny says he was an idiot accusing Chanel of doing something. Alex says he was an idiot with Stephanie doing it there. Alex wants be sure no WW3. Johnny says that won't happen; he says he's sorry he ruined things with Alex and Stephanie and sorry what he did to Chanel. Chanel walks into room.
Cat is shocked the charges are dropped. She wants to know why? EJ says Chad will let you know. EJ tells her he's disgusted what she did to Chad and Abigail's family. He takes off the handcuffs and tells her to enjoy the freedom she doesn't deserve, then leaves. Chad tells her he wanted her to rot in jail, but he can't.
Gabi hands an envelope to Javi; she wants him to take it to the courthouse before closing. She tells him it's her divorce papers. He asks if she's sure? She is. She tells him to get started. He leaves before finishing his lunch. (looks delicious). As Javi leaves, EJ walks behind Gabi.
Leo says to Joy, you're a home wrecker too, or are saying this as her character? Joy says she's talking about real life. Leo wants to know whose home she wrecked?
Chanel walks into the room and says she's sorry she's late. They had to put body makeup on her. Chanel says she's having a hard time doing the scene, but she's a professional. And she knows both of them will do the same. She reminds them it's make believe.
JJ and Julie are sitting on the couch in the living room. They discuss Chad's wedding, and she's happy JJ was there. Julie says the wedding wasn't valid. She's happy Cat and her brother are in jail. She knows Chad and EJ will make her stay there a long time. (ooops)
Chad tells Cat that Clyde escaped from jail and that he's talked to Clyde. Clyde will him where Abby's remains are if he turns Cat over to him.
Julie is happy JJ is there. He wants to know what happened to Abby's body and see his family. JJ is sad. He asks Julie how Doug is doing? JJ says Doug's one of his favorite people. Julie says not well today because he believed Abby was alive and has a bad cold. They talk about Doug's age, 98. Julie says every day is a blessing since he's still alive (tissue time).
Cat and Chad discuss why Clyde wants her. Cat says he wants revenge like he did with my mother. Chad says yes. Cat says he's throwing her to the lion. Chad says he needs to know what happened to Abby and it's the only way.
EJ talks to Gabi. She gets up from the table. EJ talks about the letter Stefan wrote to him. He says she's upset since Stefan wrote to him and not her. Gabi calls him a child. EJ wants an apologize since Gabi said the divorce is his fault. She yells it is.
