Replay of Leo seeing Joy in Horton Town Square. He tells her he's giving her rewrites so she won't have to work with Chanel. Joy says he heard. He says yes. Joy is afraid it will end up in Lady Whistleblower's column. Leo says no. She gets up to leave. Leo goes other way and bumps into Javi. Leo wishes him a Happy New Year and starts talking about himself.
Stephanie's reading Lady Whistleblower on her tablet. She reads about Alex and Joy ringing in the New Year together. It mentions her name and how she feels about it. Knock on the door. It's Abe. He needs something done with the menace.
Bonnie's reading her tablet in the K-Mansion den. Lady W calls B&S "The Bland and the Talentless". Lady W talks about Bonnie's acting. It mentions Bonnie should stick to marrying wealthy men for their money. She wants to go after Lady W. Hattie walks in.
Replay of Chanel walking into the B&S office. Chanel tells Johnny that she quits. Johnny says but she loves her job. She says she used to, but not now. She's done with the show and him. Hattie replies "nobody stays dead in Salem, unless they do". Bonnie explains how Charlemagne could be alive. They agree today's a good day to resurrect her.

Alex is happy Joy is staying. She goes to her room to study her lines. Alex grabs his bag to leave. Chanel walks in. She's crying. Alex apologizes for not telling her about Johnny and Joy because he didn't want her to get hurt. Chanel says it's over with Johnny. She quit B&S. She's going to miss the show. He hugs her as she cries.

Javi wants to stop talking about Leo. He says he's taking a shower and then will make lunch. Then Javi wants to know about Kerry's trip to Rochester see his family. (oh my). Javi leaves the room.
