Commissioner Marshall (Abe), a warm and reassuring presence, (yes that is what he says) is on the phone, wondering how he can help someone as Faith runs in. She's in tears about that awful Regan Halloway, who claims to be Arrow’s wife. Commissioner Marshall replies Arrow’s high school sweetheart? Faith is shocked as Marshall says, I read spoilers. More blah blah blah.
Arrow tells Regan this is wrong, he is with Faith. Arrow leaves. Regan picks up a knife looks evil.
Commissioner Marshall hugs Faith and leaves for the station.
A masked person knocks on the door, then stabs Faith. Arrow runs in, cradles Faith, picks up the knife as Marshall walks in and says you did it. Marshall says you did, you killed my baby girl. Arrow tries to claim his innocence. Detective John Hotson (Johnny) comes in with his badge in hand. He understands there was a murder. Arrow tells John that he recognizes him, John tells Arrow that he is familiar too.
I remember, claims John Hotson. I saw you in the mugshot book, you are the Neck Tie Killer! Arrow replies, No I’m not, you idiot, that’s not the right story. Arrow tries to tell them about the killer. John Hotson arrests Arrow. At the jail cell, Arrow does a scream, then a jump quick cut to Detective Hotson being locked up as Commissioner Marshall comes in and frees Detective Hotson.
Kassandra's (Bonnie) reading the paper, sees that her son Arrow killed Faith. Arrow runs in, she says "right on cue." Arrow tells her that he is in real trouble. He has been dubbed the Pineview Plunger. Because he plunged the knife in Faith. They agree the name needs a rewrite. Perhaps the begonia can bring Faith back to life?
At the hospital, Kassandra has convinced Dr. Lamoray (Seth Burns) that she needs a booster dose of the begonia juice. Arrow, in a hospital mask, comes in and is thrilled to hear this. They get a plan.
At the house, Detective Hotson and Commissioner find the handcuffs, proof that Arrow was here. They discuss just how Bonnie got the handcuffs off. Well, she was in that prison storyline 5 years ago. But where would they go?
Kassandra's waiting in Room 302 as the masked person enters. The Pine View Plunger screams "Kassandra" and then Arrow’s mother is dead. Arrow picks up the knife as Detective Hotson and Commissioner Marshall walk into the room. We have to stop meeting like this says the Commissioner. As they walk out, Arrow claims he didn’t do this, it was Regan Halloway, but she’s dead on the floor by the nurse’s station.

Marshall states, she’s been plunged. Hotson tells Arrow to stay put and walks away. Marshall claims there are now 3 plunged. Arrow runs off towards the stairway. Hotson says "there is a stairway?" The stairway is off camera, go. Marshall states he’d better get to the morgue.
Arrow runs into an office and finds Miranda (Stephanie). He's happy to have found her. She was trying to reach him, Miranda believes him, she is one of Regan’s longest and dearest friends. Miranda is in shock. I know you are, replies Arrow, but please, did you see Regan today when she got into town? Yes, she said you were a “no-good, dirty—” sorry I can’t say the rest of it in Pineview. Arrow asks is that all she said? That I’m a “no-good, dirty expletive deleted”? That was the gist of it, per Miranda. But Regan did say someone would help her get Arrow back.
In another hospital room, or the same one, Arrow walks in on Dr. Lamoray. Dr. Lamoray screams "are you the Plunger? Help! Murderer!" Arrow yells at him that no one can hear him as they are in the part of the hospital where they shoot that tv show and the show is dark today so nobody’s around.
It’s a dark day indeed with so many dead bodies in Pineview, claims Dr. Lamoray. The dead bodies are thanks to Charlemagne Delacroix who is no longer dead. But she fell down the elevator shaft and she’s off contract. Okay, it’s true, I did use the begonia juice and brought her back. Arrow grabs Lamoray and they head to the door. It opens, and the Plunger is there.
Arrow is on the phone to 911 saying there’s been another murder, yes another one. He was killed by the Plunger before he could tell the police that Charlemagne Delacroix is the killer. Tell the police to head to the Delacroix mansion, she has to be holed up there somewhere.
At the Delacroix (DiMera) Mansion, Detective Hotson comes into the living room where the Commissioner is helping himself to a glass of brown liquid. Hotson says there is no sign of the scheming bad word anywhere. Charlemagne (Marlena/Hattie) comes out from the not at all secret passageway, demanding to know who they are calling scheming?
Arrow tries to find Miranda at her office, but she’s dead on the desk. Detective John Hotson comes in sees Arrow by the dead body and cleverly says well if it isn’t déjà vu all over again. Arrow claims his innocence, and also claims Charlemagne is alive.
Commissioner Marshal tells Charlemagne they are sorry they thought that about her. Bunch of silliness dialogue. As they talk, the masked figure enters the room.
Detective Hotson is squatting next to the body of Miranda, says "this episode has more recurring beats than a Dr. Dre song." Arrow concurs. Arrow asks Hotson, have you ever heard of the super hero the Arrow? Hotson thinks so, yeah. What about the superhero the Flash? Hotson has heard of him. Do you know what you get when you put them together? Arrow runs out of the room.
Arrow runs into the Delacroix mansion to find Charlemagne and Marshall dead. OH NO! Detective Hotson runs in and they run down the list of dead bodies. Arrow claims he’s no detective, but his money is on Hotson because he’s not on the cast list, he’s the only one left. But in walks the Plunger. The Plunger walks in and stabs Hotson. Arrow asks who are you and why are you doing this?
Arrow's sleeping on a couch, unsure of where he is, palm trees can be seen out the window, his mom is alive, they are all alive and, on an island, everyone we saw killed this show. Everyone just woke up here, it’s peaceful in the tropics. In walks Lorna DeLorean (Kate) and she welcomes Arrow to Weivenip. Arrow can’t believe it, we all thought you were dead. You went to mail that letter, and never came back. I know but I’m alive and living here on the island of Weivenip.
What is Weivenip? Pineview spelled backwards. Well what are we doing here, demands Detective Hotson. Lorna tells him he’s the detective, figure it out. Arrow wants to know who is behind this? Dr. Lamoray doesn’t know who put him up to this. Leo walks in and takes over. He is the one behind this. Leo is their freewill. The Plunger returns. This time it is Dr. Marlena Evans. She is angry because she only wanted to do one scene on this show and now look at her.
Leo finally wakes up. He wonders if he even brushed his teeth? A knock at the door, trick or treaters, this late? It’s the plunger. He/she plunges.
The Plunger pulls off the mask, and it’s Stephanie. Killing off the head writer before the show even airs. Kate and Abe giggle and have a good time. Think of the free publicity they will get. They chuckle over killing off favorite characters because fans get angry, but who cares if the writer gets killed?
Now Leo wakes again. Knocking at the door again. Abe is at the door. Leo answers in his Halloween jammies. Abe wants to know if Leo got Kate’s email?
