Hospital Establishing Shot - Marlena's office - Eric visits Marlena. Steve is anxious to be released. Marlena remarks about Eric's publication divorce. She asks about spending time with EJ, and thus Jude, and thus Nicole. Eric has no feelings for Nicole. None at all. Zero. She invites him to dinner since John's out of town, to talk about not Nicole.
Dr. Greene's Examining Room - Jude had a temperature and Nicole apologizes to Dr. Mark Greene for overreacting. The doc isn't worried. She talks about knowing better because she has an older daughter, a high school junior named Holly. Dr. Greene knows Holly Jonas, who rescinded her request to attend prom with his little brother, Aaron. Nicole explains Holly's punishment about prom. Unfortunately there are only 2 girls in Salem, so Aaron must attend prom with friends. Dr. Greene is in charge of his siblings, which represents a status change for him from "cool older brother."
Pub/DiMansion stoop - Holly and Tate trash talk their moms and make secret text plans to meet this night. Holly feels bad about Sophia. Holly must keep this secret from her best friend, who would tell her mom, and then she'd tell Nicole about Tate and Holly's plans. After 30 rounds of this conversation, Brady leaves. Jeannie T steels herself to stay with Alex.
DiMansion - Stefan and EJ talk about his switch back to DA. Stefan expects the new DA to do more than just re-open Gabi's case; he expects her to be free, or Stefan will blab about Jude's paternity. He wants his wife home tomorrow or he'll blab. Holly has entered but doesn't care about the secret. Stefan and his mustache breathe a sigh of relief and excuse themselves. EJ tries to explain, Holly really doesn't care and still is upset that nearly killing herself and non-stop lying has resulted in her not being able to attend prom (tonight). Nicole waltzes in, Holly can go to prom.
K-Mansion - Brady wakes Jeannie T up from a deep sleep (in which she dreamed she confessed she loved Brady, and was only with Alex for the money). Jeannie T thinks they need to keep an eye on Tate, whom she caught with Holly yesterday. Brady's in the dark.
Pub - Aaron arrives at the pub. He decorated without Tate's help because Tate was so caught up with Holly. Aaron is looking forward to hanging out with Sophia Choi. Tate recaps how he loves Holly so truly and deeply and only asked Sophia to prom as a cover. Sophia has entered and heard this. Tate laments that his parents are chaperoning the dance. He reviews loudly how he's into Holly as Sophia listens. She comes up to them, doesn't give it away. Tate leaves.
DiMansion study - Holly is angry at the sudden turn of events. She says she'll just stay in and study since she has no dress. Nicole's sure they can find something, and has Aaron's number. Nicole is giddy after the call (see below).
Pub - Aaron tries to chat with Sophia, who is distant. He gets a call from an unknown number and bizarrely answers it. Nicole explains, passes the phone to Holly, who asks him to attend with her. He accepts. Sophia speaks pointedly about the plans for tonight. Aaron emphasizes that he and Holly are going as friends.
DiMansion Entryway/Townhouse (latter has the condo establishing shot) - Holly calls Tate and updates him. He's calm, they'll just do the original plan despite his parents' presence. Brady enters and wants to know to whom Tate was speaking? He says it was Aaron, he will hang out in a group with Holly now. Brady is cautious.
DiMansion study - EJ and Nicole are celebrating Holly's prom or something and making out. Stefan's mustache leads him into the room, and Stefan assumes they're celebrating his new job. EJ explains. Stefan talks about Gabi's case, lays it on thick.
Townhouse - Brady is in a tux. Marlena and Eric are there, Marlena promised John lots of pictures. Jeannie T arrives. He gives her her corsage. Jeannie T learns that Holly will attend. Later, Sophia arrives and Jeannie T really likes her. Tate comes out in his tux. He compliments Sophia. Jeannie T apologizes for going off on Holly.
DiMansion Entryway - Aaron, Mark, EJ, and Stefan stand around talking with Nicole. Mark has met Johnny and Chanel. Holly makes her entrance.
We go back and forth between pre-prom pictures. Eric takes them at the townhouse, Stefan at the DiMansion.
Townhouse - As the teens are heading off, Sophia has news for Jeannie T. Later, Marlena suspects Tate's smile doesn't match his eyes.
DiMansion - EJ and Nicole are snuggled up on the couch. Stefan sends her the pictures, and EJ another threat.
School (establishing shot) - The four teens chat in a hallway. Sophia watches as Holly and Tate talk. The chaperones arrive to shoo the kids into the gym. Tate and Sophia enter the gym, Jeannie T reminds Holly that she is to keep distance from Tate, or she'll get ejected. The teens leave. Brady scolds Jeannie T, who stands her ground. END
