K-Mansion - Holly leaves a message for Doug-3. She has the rest of the money. Tate comes in with flowers. They recap their exciting story and how terribly difficult their lives are, and how deeply and wildly they love each other. Tate goes in for a smooch. Doug-3 interrupts. Tate learns about Holly and Doug-3’s misadventures. Tate thanks Doug-3 for looking out for Holly on New Year's, but what is he doing here now? He gets a text from Sophia that aborts any answer. He has to rush off, her doctor's appointment was moved up.
Salem Inn, Leo's Room - Leo speaks on the phone to Abe. He knows Javi is Lady Whistleblower and they quibble about the show. There's a knock on the door. He ends the call and greets Marlena. He forgot they had lunch. He recaps his exciting story. Marlena thinks he's jumping to conclusions and points out proof is non-existent. Leo wants to confront him; Marlena talks him down. She successfully derails the Leo train and they go to lunch.
Square - Kerry is talking to Javi (at the Hernandez House) on the phone, making plans. He is working on his column.
Townhouse - Ava arrives. Her assistant manager is covering for her. Brady tells her Rachel sent the texts. Ava is surprised. Brady says it's about Kristen, not her, and she and Kristen have agreed to send Rachel to therapy. They talk about the right balance of Brady/Ava in light of Rachel’s needs. Ava worries about harming Rachel, Brady worries about sending the wrong message to Rachel. They talk about continuing/advancing their relationship. Brady gets a call [see below].
DiMansion - Rachel holds a letter opener. She has a flashback to threatening Ava, Kristen kicking Ava out, and Kristen realizing Rachel's the perp. She breaks into the drawer and retrieves her phone. Kristen swipes it away. She wants Rachel in therapy. Rachel agrees if Marlena is her shrink. Kristen explains why that's not the best solution. Rachel just needs to tell someone how much she hates Ava. She asks if going to therapy will reunite Brady and Kristen? Kristen gently explains that's not the goal, and she is sorry for getting Rachel's hopes up about that. (She even says "I wanted that, too.") They hug, but Rachel has a one-shot suggesting she's not happy.
Hernandez House - Javi is working on Jada's wedding when Gabi enters. They have to talk about Javi's life. Gabi likes Kerry and doesn't want Javi jeopardizing it by being chummy with Leo. Javi doesn't think his friendship with Leo will hurt his relationship with Kerry.
K-Mansion - Doug-3 is surprised Sophia's not having her planned abortion, learns from Holly about Sophia's mother. This complicates things. Doug-3 tries to leave, Holly asks him to stay.
DiMansion Living Room/Townhouse - Brady talks on the phone with Kristen about Rachel going to therapy. Meanwhile in the DiMera entryway, Rachel packs a bag (including a giant stuffed snake) and leaves.
Square - Javi meets Kerry. He tells him he is going to be friends with Leo, and wants Kerry to understand if not accept that. Across the Square, Leo and Marlena exit the Inn. Leo sees the famous sweatshirt, strolls over to them. After introductions, Leo tells Javi he likes his sweatshirt, where did he get it? Javi says from Kerry. Kerry says he's from Rochester. END
