Now appearing in Wichita, Kansas
37 minutes of pure dreck.

Chanel and Alex are in bed adulting. Johnny comes in and tells them to cut, but they keep at it. It’s a dream.

Chanel appears at her mom’s and complains about her husband being crazy jealous of her upcoming adult scene with Arrow aka Alex.

Alex appears at Stephanie’s; she has a fantasy of adulting with Alex. He apologizes for keeping Stephanie up late. He wants advice.

Kate and Abe, in a terrible coat, discuss the first day of shooting. They can use the hospital as a set. Abe tells of one of their lead actors causing problems.

Bonnie wakes cranky Leo. Stupid conversation about rewriting rewrites.

Hattie's inside the pub talking to Roman about how exciting it’s going to be putting on a REAL LIVE SOAP OPERA!! She yells the "real live" part.

Bonnie continues to berate Leo. He tells Bonnie to learn to love the new old pink pages because the producer Abe, the man who signs his paycheck, told him to leave it alone.

Kate and Abe discuss their divas. Abe tells of Hattie threatening that either Bonnie goes or she does. One will have to go.

Alex talks of Faith and Arrow will be shooting their first sex scene. But as star crossed lovers, they need to wait to build anticipation, to hate each other first, then like each other. If they start off in bed at first, who’s going to want to keep watching?

Chanel is still complaining about Johnny to her mother. She's upset Johnny doesn’t trust her. Momma (Paulina) is on Johnny side.

Kate and Abe continue blah blahing about who are they going to fire? The early decision is to fire Bonnie.

Hattie is still chatting up Roman.

Cranky Leo and Bonnie continue to discuss how difficult it is to write and film a show in one day. Leo complains about Johnny.

Chanel and Paulina continue to discuss Chanel's sexual past and what that brings to this show, and how Johnny is close minded. Johnny shows up at Paulina's.

Alex and Stephanie talk about discussing the sex scene with Kate, that perhaps Alex and Chanel could change the producers’ minds. Jada calls and lets Stephanie know that Everett was murdered, he didn’t commit suicide. Now Stephanie is all weepy.

Kate and Abe are still tossing around who are they going to fire. Kate points out if you give one person, an actor no less, the ability to blackmail you into how you run your show, there is no telling where they will stop. Or what the other actors will want to do.

Bonnie talks of the green eyed monster and how when it takes hold you can’t see straight. Bon Bon wants to protect Kassandra. Leo, after a monologue, shoves Bonnie out the door.

Stephanie tells Alex how Connie killed Everett and stabbed Rafe. She says it’s like losing Everett all over again. Alex is worried about leaving her. He tells Stephanie if she needs to talk to anyone, to call him. She points out he’ll be working. He says it doesn’t matter, she is more important. Golly gee, if only Stephanie had family to support her in this time of loss.

Johnny and Chanel discuss her leaving because of the fight. Johnny tells Chanel that she was right. He apologizes, he wasn’t aware of all of the stuff it brought up.

Roman and Hattie are running lines. He's reading Thrust’s lines. Bonnie comes in, Hattie challenges her. Hattie thinks Bonnie’s been fired.

Chanel accepts Johnny’s apology, begrudgingly.

Alex wants to talk to Kate about how the love scene is too rushed. They talk over each other for a while. Kate wants to start off the show with a bang. Alex explains his position.

Abe now disturbs Leo. He wants to talk about Bonnie and Hattie. Leo tells of Bonnie just being there and she didn’t take the now new pages information well. Abe asks how she took it? Leo goes off on a Blair Witch example with stick figures and such. But Bonnie knows the no new pink pages rule came from Abe. Abe's not thrilled to know Bonnie is waiting for him. Bonnie is about to get a pink page she doesn’t want.

(Cheer up, there is still 15 minutes of the show to go!!)

Hattie and Bonnie are fighting, while Roman is frantically on the phone trying to get Katie on the phone. He then tells the women to behave.

Paulina and Johnny discuss bringing Johnny and Chanel’s mess into Paulina’s house. They talk about last night and how Johnny needs to grow up. But Chanel chose Johnny, not anyone else.

Kate, Alex and Chanel discuss if the love scene is happening too soon.

Leo and Abe discuss new pink pages, Leo says once I get these out, there will no going back.

Roman, Hattie and Bonnie are still fighting. Roman tries to talk sense into both of their alleged brain pans. This is super embarrassing as a viewer to watch. Bonnie spits in her hand and offers it to Hattie, who refuses to shake Bonnie’s hand.

Stephanie now shows up at Paulina’s. She drops off the bios for the new housing task force. Paulina asked for them a while ago. Stephanie says it’s been a tough few weeks for her. She’s been busy with Body and Soul. Paulina gives her a pass since it is her husband’s television show. They now discuss Johnny and Chanel.

Johnny appears at the office, Kate insisted that the love scene will be on. Johnny looks odd.

Kate and Abe meet in the town square. Kate asks about Leo? He didn’t push back so Bonnie will be getting her pink pages as requested.

Leo appears at the Pub with new pink pages. They are truly pink. Leo begs for them to not hate him. Bonnie reads them and wants to know if she’s being killed off? Hattie looks pleased.

Kate points out if you give one person an actor no less the ability to blackmail you into how you run your show, there is no telling where they will stop. Or what the other actors will want to do.
If only Kate was around when Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie) and Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) decided their characters should be related.

You get a medal, Robin, not a good way to start the week:cry:

So who will replace Bonnie? Let's just SORAS Charlotte around 8 times (if Charlotte is 7, not sure!)

Leo's pajamas and robe are nicer than any outside clothes I currently have.

At least when Alex consoled Stephanie, he didn't CONSOLE her. It sure looked like it was about to happen, though.

I actually agree with Alex and Chanel. Let them build up to the intimate scenes, not right off the bat.

A full episode of Body and Soul (looks like they use "and" instead of "&", based on the script we saw) is more than any of us can stand.

Who is funding B&S? Sponsors, network, on and on. Who is going to WATCH the nonsense? Maybe it's just for their entertainment (?). I say to Abe and Kate: fire the whole lot and go outside for a cast!!! As for Bonnie and Hattie, I hate Hattie. I think I hate seeing Deidre Hall being so stupid. Bonnie is ok since she's like that all the time. I fast forwarded a lot of it, also.

You know that things are bad when Stephanie learning the real cause of Everett’s death is the dramatic highlight of an episode.

The Bonnie-Hattie rivalry is so dumb. It brings to mind the answer to the question, why are college faculty disputes so bitter? The answer is “because the stakes are so small.”

Why Abe can be threatened with a cast resignation is a mystery. Any member of the “cast” could be quickly replaced with a Salem U. drama major or a member of a local theater group.

Finally, kudos to Leo for his red silk pjs and striking leopard robe. If Dimitri was still around, he’d really be impressed.

Thanks, robin.

It's a new day in Salem. Why, oh why?

Poor Bonnie. She got pink slipped (fired) because Abe likes Hattie's character better.

Bonnie shouldn't worry too much since her character dies, she might come back later alive or as a twin.

I got confused. Kate and Abe discussed they weren't going to listen to actor's demands, but they fired
Bonnie anyway since Hattie wanted it. I guess Abe and Kate decided it was best for everyone to fire
Bonne since she and Hattie ruined the photo shoot.

I didn't realize the pub was so dark until the lights for the show were put up. Does Roman keep the pub
dark so people can't see the food?

Poor Stephanie, she found out Everett was murdered instead of dying by suicide.

What's Johnny going to do now since the love scene with Chanel and Alex is going to happen after all?

Since Charlemagne apparently looks exactly like Marlena and they own the rights to Charlemagne, they could probably legally have a college theater student wear a Charlemagne mask and just pay Marlena for her likeness. Or maybe just ask Marlena if they can use a mask of her face.

Also, they should fire Hettie first because she's the one who's blackmailing them.

I continue to hate this story as much as any I’ve hated before. I preferred Connie talking to a cardboard Li to the stupidity of all these non-actors suddenly being on a soap opera. How could Abe and Kate ever expect to make money? Also, some of the lines sound like Carlivati is working through his personal upset at backstage drama, which I find distasteful.

I don’t want to see some silly jealousy story with Johnny, Chanel, and Alex. They can’t go one month without a triangle? The doppelgängers are best used sparingly. My only prayer is that Bonnie gets hit on the head in a soap scene and wakes up remembering she’s Adrienne.
