Rafe 1 is asleep on his cot, dreaming of Rafe 2 beating him up (like we need to see that again!) as Stefano pounds and shakes the cell bars to wake him up. Stefano has heard of Rafe 1’s little adventure yesterday. Rafe replies he just needed some air. Stefano remarks it is too bad little Allie is going to have to pay, chuckling as Rafe begs him to leave Allie alone, but Stefano departs.
Over at the hospital, Sami is watching over Johnny with Lexie, wondering why EJ is not there, seeing as Johnny has had the surgery. But EJ is hooking up with Rafe 2 in the lounge, berating him for beating up Rafe 1. He lets Rafe 2 know, in no uncertain terms that he works for EJ, and did not have permission for what he did. EJ is raising his voice, as he says this, when Nicole walks in. The men pretend they were just having a difference of opinion, EJ leaves, Nicole asks Rafe 2 what the argument was about. Rafe 2 fakes it, Nicole reminds him EJ is keeping up his end of the truce, Rafe 2 promises to be more trusting, Nicole leaves. Now Stefano calls Rafe, telling him the plan is in motion, that Johnny will go home with EJ, Rafe 2 should make sure Sami goes with them, and he will take Allie home. Thus they can “take” Allie.
Back in Johnny’s room, he has awakened, Lexie is asking him if he feels o.k., any pressure in his left eye,….nope, he feels fine. She picks up a mirror to show him what it looks like, Johnny happily says it is just like his old eye. EJ & Sami exchange looks, then Sami takes Allie over to sit with her brother. She gives him a hug, tells him he looks just the same, Johnny thanks her. Nicole comes in with some gigantic balloons, Johnny thanks her, she says more presents are waiting at home. Sami looks confused, she thought Johnny would be coming home with her. Nicole says something about this being EJ’s day, in walks Rafe 2 agreeing with Nicole, telling Sami that they should stick with the agreement. Sami looks puzzled, says but this is different, and she thought Johnny would come home with him mother. Rafe 2 has disagreed , EJ has been silent, but now says that he is sure Johnny would rather go home with his mother, Johnny nods his head in agreement, EJ says then it is all settled.
Earlier, Kate was sitting with Allie when Melanie comes up to say hi. Kate wants to talk, Mel is on duty, doesn’t stop Kate, who yammers about how happy Melanie has made Philip, and how they all are gonna take Parker away from Chloe. Melanie is not too sure about that. She takes off. We see Taylor coming with these big balloons, running into Nicole who ordered them, and letting her sister know she is now working in the gift shop. Later Taylor is hovering over a vase of flowers, wondering who they are for, gets another one of her idiotic (sorry!) fantasies about EJ coming up, saying they are for her, so beautiful, and as they are about to kiss, she pops out of the fantasy. (Spare me these things, please! )
At the Pub, Philip walks in, spots Parker all alone near the door, then sees Chloe at the bar, calls her. He is upset she left the baby alone, she protests she was keeping an eye on him, she was just paying the bill, she learned her lesson. Philip wants to know what that means, she confesses to leaving Parker alone while going for his prescription. Philip realizes she left the oven on, rants about how Parker could have been killed, says Chloe needs some help, not rest, and insists on taking her to the hospital.
They spot Daniel, who lhas called in Dr. Craig, but Chloe would rather he do the exam. Daniel calls Maxine to take Chloe to the exam room, Philip waits outside. Daniel is very abrupt and professional, as he tells her she is suffering from PPD. Chloe denies this, says she is not crazy. Daniel assures her she is not crazy, it is a hormonal imbalance, will write a prescription. Chloe wants to talk to him alone, he tells Maxine to stay and anything Chloe has to say is fine in front of them both. Chloe is silent, he starts to leave the room, she stops him, asking “can’t you love me”? he doesn’t answer, she sadly comments that then it is all over. He replies it was over a long time ago, and leaves.
Outside, he gives Philip the prescription, Melanie spots them, hurries over to question Philip, who takes her into the lounge and mistakenly proceeds to tell her all that happened with Chloe, Parker and the oven. He makes her promise not to tell anyone, but the minute he leaves, she gets on the horn to call Kate. Later, she spots Daniel setting down Chloe’s file, goes over to check, and sees the PPD diagnosis. Now she whips out her phone and again calls Kate, telling her all the info she has learned, and she definitely knows now that Parker has to be taken from Chloe.
Over at their apartment, Sami has returned from leaving Sydney with her gramma, Johnny & Allie are playing a game on the coffee table. Sami wants to talk to Rafe 2 about what happened at the hospital, how come he was siding against her about bringing Johnny home. Oh, he is so sorry, blames his accident, getting mixed up, yada, yada. Sami looks uncomfortable, but agrees to let it slide. He now suggests perhaps Johnny needs a nap.
Sami offers to read Johnny a story, Rafe 2 says Allie can stay with him. NO, she loudly exclaims, she doesn’t want to. Sami takes her with Johnny to read the story. Stefano calls Rafe 2, who tells him that Johnny came home with them, due to EJ’s interference. Stefano tells him the plan is a go, and when he gets Allie by herself, let him know. A bit later, Allie is back in the living room with Sami, who is gonna play a game. Johnny calls his mom, Sami tells Allie to set the game up with Rafe, as she leaves. Rafe 2 grabs Allie’s jacket he has a better idea than playing a boring old game. How about they go to the park. (I swear this scene is too creepy, as if the stranger in the car just offered the kid candy!)

EJ is now against the idea, he watched Johnny with Allie today, he needs her and depends on her, and EJ does not want her to be gone from Johnny’s life. Stefano protests, they made the threat, have to carry it out. EJ reminds him that Rafe is in a cell, would not know one way or the other, they can tell him anything they want.
Stefano is enraged, this is the plan, it is the principle of the thing, they have to follow through. He gives the orders and his word is final. He storms out as Nicole enters, wondering if she should ask what just happened. Nope. She makes a drink for him, says she is meeting her sis at the Pub to make wedding plans, wants him to come. No, he cannot, he has a crisis. She leaves. Kate comes in, wanting to ask him a few questions. EJ puts her off, she is insistent, he keeps saying not now. She keeps it up, it has to do with protecting her grandson.
EJ grabs Kate's arms, commenting he knows she would do anything to protect her grandchildren. Yes, she agrees. He insists she call Lucas, tell him to take Allie for a visit. She protests that it is middle of the night in Hong Kong. EJ tells her to then wake him up, he has taken the phone and handed it to her. Now, get her out of here now, tonight. Kate calls Lucas, apologizing for waking him up, yes she knows it is middle of the night. EJ is on his cell, calling Nicole, saying the crisis is averted and he can come meet her and her sister after all. About time he met her.
Down in the basement, in front of Rafe 1’s cell, Stefano is on the phone to one of his flunkies, giving the orders about taking Allie. He hangs up, asking Rafe if he heard all that. He grabs a chair, makes himself comfortable, as he chuckles about the impending disappearance of Allie from her mother’s life, asking Rafe how he feels, knowing it is all due to him.
