Brady's on the phone with Kristen as Ava watches on. Fool that he is, he believes that Rachel is willing to go to therapy. Brady apologizes for what Rachel put Ava through. They kiss.
Snowy outside view of the hospital, Tate arrives for Sophia’s doctor’s appointment. Sophia changed the appointment, not the doctor.
Holly asks Doug-3 to stay. Recap why he is there, money.

A trip she no longer wants to go on because she will be around her boyfriend and his pregnant ex girlfriend 24/7 and school is already hard enough. (WOW, have school trips gotten expensive, even if Maggie tossed in a couple bucks for spending cash, it still couldn’t be much)
Leo makes up some lame story of talking to B&S wardrobe person about Rochester. They were talking about the eclipse and was in the path of totality, but alas it was cloudy that day. Leo invites everyone for lunch. A double date that Marlena wants no part of, if I read her face correctly.
Brady and Ava crush into each other’s personal space while. Rachel stole the tickets from her dad and resold them. More talk about how sneaky and terrible Rachel is but it’s supposed to be cute. I’m actually waiting for Brady to blame Xander for his influence on Rachel. They kiss and decide to watch a Christmas movie in January as they’ve never done that before.
Kayla meets Sophia. Kayla asks how Sophia's doing? She points her into exam room 2. Kayla wants to talk to Tate. Theresa doesn’t know that she’s to be a grandmother yet. Tate brings Kayla up-to-date speed on all of their previous Sophia and Tate conversations. He's upset Holly is looking outside for male companionship.
Doug-3 is going to pay back Holly so she can go on the trip. He texts the guys and says he has the money,
Leo leaves lunch to go to the potty. Once out of their line of sight, Leo texts Marlena to come meet him at the Salem Inn, NOW. Marlena makes up an excuse and leaves. Javi and Hairy Kerry talk. Leo knows now to get actual proof. They go back and lunch continues. Leo says that Abe and Kate called and they loved his new story idea. Leo gives the pitch, one of B&S folks will be possessed by the devil. There is more but no one cares.
Tate whines to Kayla about Holly seeing Doug-3. He believes he has messed up and he has messed up badly. Kayla praises Tate for being with Sophia. She leaves to do the initial exam then they will call him in.
Holly and Doug-3 argue over Holly wanting to be there. Holly won’t take no for an answer. She has a deep understanding of thugs and thuggery. She promises to stay at the K-Mansion, Doug-3 leaves.
Brady and Ava have finished their movie. They sit and kiss on the couch. (that was a fast 90 minutes) Kristen knocks on the door, Brady opens it and Kristen walks in screaming for Rachel. Apparently, Rachel is missing, her backpack and stuffed snake are missing too.
Leo goes into the Devil possession story. Javi is not on board. But it’s ripped from the headlines.
Guess what, Holly followed Doug-3 to the park. Thug 1 sees Holly and won’t let her leave.
Tate joins the exam when they are doing an ultrasound. The heartbeat is strong and regular, and it looks like a baby.
Kerry and Javi leave lunch. The only 4 people who know about the new storyline for B&S are Kerry, Javi, Marlena and Leo. The waters have been chummed.
All of Rachel’s friends have been called and the house has been scoured, still no Rachel.
Parents-to-be talk about the appointment (Tate takes Sophia's hand as they look at the ultrasound screen).
Thug 1 takes the money. Holly orders him out of her sight. Thug 1 leaves. Holly thinks everything is over, that Doug-3 is free and clear.
Javi and Hairy Kerry are going to adult at Rafe’s house. Javi heads up to the bedroom while Kerry pulls out his computer and starts typing.
Leo reads what Kerry wrote, it’s a total bash on what Re-Ron must have heard, it’s been done before, insulting, not original. Leo thinks he now has Kerry.
Javi is undressed, thinking of his time with Leo. Hairy Kerry joins him, kissing and stuff follow.
Brady gets off the phone, he called the police, they need to go to the mansion to fill out paperwork and get scent items for the dogs. Kristen thinks the police are just stalling, they should be looking for Rachel. Ava offers to help, but it’s all Ava’s fault because she wormed her way into their lives. (What da' hell, Kristen??) Screaming match happens and Marlena walks in. Brady tells her Rachel is missing.
In the town square, no snow, roof must be closed, and Sophia sits with a jacket draped over her shoulders with cute peasant blouse underneath. Must be a warm blouse. Sophia's drinking a soda, begging Tate to not tell her mom (about not drinking something healthy). They took 4 vials of blood (OH NO, 4 vials). Sophia looks at her ultrasound picture. Holly overhears them talking about the baby and joins them. She looks at the picture and says well, that’s a baby.
Doug-3 calls Leo, he needs to find a job in Salem. He needs to get the necklace back to Julie.
Javi and Kerry are in bed when Leo walks in to expose Lady Whistleblower once and for all.
