Christopher Reeve story

It’s good to see that there’s an upcoming film about Christopher Reeve. Back in the ‘80s some people thought I looked like Christopher Reeve as he appeared in Superman Once at a supermarket, another customer said to me: “Hey mister, did you know that you look like Superman?” Another time, I was picking up my daughter at a friend’s house, and a little girl who answered the door. She promptly ran to her mother to say that there was a man at the door who looked like Superman. Finally, one night at work, another employee who’d had a few too many called out, , “It’s Superman, it’s Superman!” However, the resemblance was limited. My sister saw Christopher Reeve on a Manhattan street and reported that without his Superman make-up we had no real resemblance,
 
Christopher Reeve's accident happened on the day I went into labor with my third child, so I think of him every year on his birthday and I know exactly how many years it has been. 30 next year. So very sad.
