This is intetesting to see the Canadian ratings. They even include men in the demographics. Coronation Street is listed too so if you aren't familiar with it, it's a British soap.

Interesting numbers, maybe that's why the show is on for the Canadians.

Thanks for posting, sirramix

Ken Corday's parents were born, raised and married in Canada, and emigrated to the U.S. I believe Ken was born there as well. There are tons of relatives still there. Heck, Canada used to get the show a day ahead of the U.S. for umpteen years.

It rates second not only in male viewers, but females as well. I wonder if those figures are for one province only, or one section of the country?

Always wished we were able to get Coronation St., here in the U.S. I guess there were areas that carried it, as I got an e-mail once from a man whose mother (in CA) was very upset as she no longer could get Coronation St., and wondered if there was some other area, station, way for him to arrange for her to get it again.

The are certain parts of the US that get the CBC as part of cable packages, usually states and cities on the border with Canada. I know they also broadcast a lot of figure skating and some of my friends have been able to watch it more regularly on the Canadian station versus NBC.
