Got a message from Facebook that someone had logged in from Nigeria and I guess changed the password earlier this week? I was able to get that reported and regain control of the account, but there is some two-factor authentication set-up and I no longer have that phone, so the code I need to finally get back in I never get when FB sends it. Any ideas on how to go around the two-factor part so I can finally sign in again??

Thanks for any help.

Does FB give you any other option for the 2-factor authentication? Like an email or “other” option to choose?

They gave the email option. They responded in the 48 hours as they had stated they would, saying I now had access to my account again. However, when I put in the re-set code that they sent me, it then takes me to the 2-factor authentication screen where I have to put in a 6-digit code (which I guess is supposedly sent to an old phone that died out many years ago and that I haven't had in years). So, they stopped the hack as soon I brought it to their attention earlier this week. However, now I'm just in a loop of getting stuck at the code page, since I have no way of getting the code.
