When we were in New Jersey in April the actors told the attendees both Brandon Barash (Stefan) and Greg Vaughan (Eric) had just been fired. So expect that next week.

And the EP has no power over the writers? Pshaw.

Not a great way for her to start her run at the show in my opinion - losing actor and fan trust.

Also, I hate the "ran out of options" line and its analogues on soaps. There's always another option on a soap. Even without zombies and magic prisms and Rolf.

Stefan's got his twin's heart in his chest and is the scion of two family fortunes. I can think of at least 5 stories right now without flinching.

Either this new EP is lazy or she's remaking the show in her image. Neither is good.

While Stefan isn't my favorite character I can think of others, *cough Alex*, I'd rather see leave.

I guess he could return but as he has no children of his own I guess he's out of here only to be heard of as a holder of precious DiMera stock being asked to vote one side or the other.

I would rather see Ejerk and Kreepy Kristen going away, especially being abandoned on a DiMera island.

I don't think they're getting rid of Gabi. My guess is that they will hook her up with EJ.

The sad thing is Vivian is back in Salem. Instead of caring about Stefan, she's there for Philip.

My guess is Vivian has him removed from Salem so he can't try to reunite with Gabi.

Very disappointed. I thought that Stefan and Gabi would get their finally happy ever after and leave Salem together for a fresh start. I guess he will be getting a stale start somewhere else. I like Brandon Barash (Stefan). He did a great job as Jake and does a great job as Stefan. I wish him the best with his career and hope to see him in other shows. Glad he is staying with The Days Players.

This stinks. The writers turned a high-powered businessman into an unemployed, Gabi-infatuated loser. Why can’t the writers produce scripts that are worthy of the talented actors who make up the cast? As Roman would say: “What da hell.”

I hate to see Brandon Barash (Stefan) go and I'm probably the only one but, I'd love to see EJ & Gabi team up and become the baddies together.
Kind of reminds me of Kate & Stefano as a team.

Agree.........think it is a mistake to let Stefan go, but then, it seems viewers have more ideas for story, at times, than the writers do. However, to be fair, they do get some good ideas, which end up disappointing as when fleshed out, they don't work.
