It was in the low 60s when I walked this morning. It got cooler before I wanted it too.
It's cloudy today and close to 80.
I worked a little outside this morning. I have to keep the keep the grass outside the
fence from sneaking inside where the new landscaping is. I'll be out again tomorrow
doing more.

Hello everyone. It has been a whirlwind few weeks, but I'm finally back at work. (Brother is still here until Thursday afternoon.) I thought I'd come back to "rest" after my time off, but it has been one crazy "Monday" type of a day of fixing problems. I'm also by myself because my coworker's daughter was rushed to Children's Hospital last Thursday. They finally got a diagnosis today, but it isn't great... a cardiac problem brought on by a virus "such as COVID or the flu". But she hasn't had any symptoms of being sick other than this new heart problem.

Squirrel, sorry your Monday back at work was so crazy! What an alarming diagnosis for the coworker's daughter! I hope she can get whatever help is needed to be well.
Kat, low 60s* is getting pretty cool! I hope the new landscaping didn't increase the work required for you to keep your yard maintained.
Poirot, I hope you aren't terribly sore from your encounter with the floor yesterday!

It's been cloudy here with a few spurts of very light mist. I got half an inch of rain on Saturday and another half last night. Temperature around 78*-80*. The past couple of days have been good for me. My son got here Sunday night and left yesterday afternoon. Yesterday we went to the small town across the river and ate lunch at Dairy Queen. We had a good visit. Then today a home improvement guy came out to look over the several jobs I need done, beginning with my shower head, which is broken again. This was the first time I'd met him. We hit it off really well and visited for a long time. He didn't try to work on anything today, will have to get supplies to bring out.
Once again, I wrote most of this hours ago but got a phone call before posting. Have a good night everyone. My days are mixed up now, after the holiday and people coming around.
