Pancake-Day.jpg

It's been years since I've had pancakes. Several times when I was married, we had breakfast food at dinner.

It was in the 40s this morning. I walked before 7:00 and wore gloves. I may have to stop walking so early until
it's warmer again.

No outside time for me today since I had a bank appt. I'll be home all day Tues and Wed.

Prayers for those who are in the path of Hurricane Ian.

I haven't had pancakes in years, either! The frozen ones are pretty bad so don't bother. I'm a disaster in the kitchen, so no way I will make them myself and don't go out much, so that's that!

Beautiful 73 degrees in NY with a slight breeze, after last night's thunderstorm.

Everyone have a great afternoon, it's the last Monday of the month!

Oh boy, do those pancakes look good! Wish I didn't live an hour and a half from Cracker Barrel. It's probably a good thing I don't live close to good restaurants--or even the not-so-good ones.

Wilde Woman, like you, I'm better off not trying to make some things for myself.

Kat, my mother used to serve breakfast foods for supper sometimes. I probably did too, a few times. Gloves already? I'm definitely not ready for that!

We got our cooler breeze today. Was 58* earler, will be upper 80s* for a high. This is still a little above our average but is nice anyway, after running around 100* through last week. I called the appliance repair place this morning. They can't come to check out my refrigerator until Oct. 6.

You all right, i now want some pancakes, all those look so yummy. Good News y'all while we will have to evacuate, and while i am cutting a long story very short here. We found an hotel room, a scant 10 miles from home, paid for 3 days, and we will check in tomorrow. We also can take cookie to the room with us. Zipped by the vet's today and got her some pills to keep her calm. We all 3 will have to share a king bed, but cookie said she will let us sleep with her in her king bed. Thanks for all the good wishes, we will let you know when we are back home, please pray we come home to an intact home. Take care guys, and stay safe. Still no definate landing site for Hurricane, but as i said yesterday we are a mere 16 miles from the port of Tampa. We will be safe in the huge hotel, got a first floor room so Stan wont have to worry about not being able to get around. He was afraid the elevators might keep him behind locked doors all the time. We will be fine, thanks for being here when i come home to Salem Spectator

Had pancakes for dinner tonight.... just came in from the outside, Jupiter is the closest it's going to be tonight for the next few hundred years, it was amazing with my binoculars, just sharp and cool looking. Also watched the NASA project Dart slam into another object, that was so neat to watch.
