9/18/2024 - Donuts and it's not a Manic Monday but a Wacky Wednesday

My morning started of early again with the barking.... luckily he was able to do his thing before the rain started.... RAIN... really it's nice out now the rain has stopped but for a bit it was quite a showy bit of weather.... The ball box comes out today.... if the limping returns it goes away and I climb into the cage to rest.... HB claims to not feel any better than he has.... of course you sort of need to feed a fever or a virus and well he isn't doing that so how can you feel better?

I'm going to get some errands run and perhaps throw a ball or several hundred today.....

71 and overcast, will be raining on and off. Cooling things off, though, so that is fine with me.

Robin: You should play "The Sounds of Silence" for THE BEST. I hope HB will feel better soon. He needs to be a good patient. Despite it all, hope you have a "ball" today.

It was clear this morning and I saw the moon walking close to 7. It's cloudy now.
It will be close to 90 this afternoon.

I had a good Bible class today. Next week, my small group help with the kids. We
can watch the lesson on video later. I stopped on the way home to find a large
bucket, but I couldn't find one. I found a discontinue model trimmer at Lowes and
bought it. Cheaper than the newer model.

I forgot to mention my neighbors across the street have Halloween stuff up. At least
it's not the Dec holiday

robin, I'm glad you got rain. I hope Vinnie doesn't limp.

I had a fairly decent day. I had made an appointment to do some glass fusion classes thought about canceling because of everything going on here at the house. But after Mr. Cranky Pants got upset with me for asking if he had called his cardiologist I said, I'm going to class and left. I had a great time. While I was there, he sent a text asking if I could go to Costco and pick up his Ozempic. Great I thought, another $200+ charge I wasn't expecting this month, but replied sure! Color me very surprised when the cost was $0.00 dollars. On my way home I stopped at Arby's which I had planned on doing anyway as they were having a fund raiser for Grandson's High School. I don't recommend the Bourbon BBQ Brisket. I thought it would be ah... tastier. It had lots of hard crusty bits of meat.
Last night I tried to get a picture of the eclipse. I did get a fuzzy picture of the moon and an alien ship.....

Wasn't today also United States Air Force birthday?

I went to town to Wal-Mart and United. Woke up this morning at 3:30 so I was tired all day. I was going to get an individual package of salted peanuts to put in a Dr. Pepper (glass bottle) I had at home. United didn't have any! They told me they don't get them anymore. I could hardly believe it. I imagine W-M might have them but I had already been there and wasn't going back. It was 100* today or more.
