Kat, thanks for that curious and funny clip of the cow. I'd sure like to know how she got there and how she was going to get off. I've seen cows do a lot of crazy things but this one is a first for me!
Sexton, I'm sorry the museum was disappointing. There's got to be a LOT of fascinating history down in your area.
Wilde Woman, I agree, Lucille Ball was a timeless comedic genius. She gave a lot of us many laughs. Glad you're getting some cooler weather. Hope the rain isn't overwhelming.
Kat, I can't imagine your yard being any prettier than it already was but sounds like there will be many new and fresh things for you to enjoy. Can't blame the handyman for staying with his wife at this time but it's too bad you're having to take up the slack. Hope your toe is healing well.
I followed my niece to town this morning, where she left her car for some repairs. We both had some errands to do as well. The temperature was somewhere between 104* and 110*, depending on which thermometer or report to believe. I only know it felt excessively hot. Hardly a breeze stirring, full sun. We ate at a new Mexican restaurant in this small town across the river. It's a nice place, good food, good service, but I'm afraid they won't make it because it was the noon hour and hardly anybody was there. I hope they do better in the evenings. Or maybe on most other days. Today was the funeral of a young female police officer who died from an illness. Some people may have been out of town for that.
