8-22-14 Days preempted in Youngstown, Ohio.

NBC in Youngstown, Ohio, Days is preempted today, 8-22-14, for a police/district attorney news conference. They're going to talk about arrests made in a gang shoot out.

Even though in Pennsylvania, that's my NBC station. Looks like I'll miss Days on my only day to watch.

That really stinks, RS. You mean they couldn't cover that on the noon and nightly news??? I'm sick of stations preempting daytime TV for stuff that can be covered in their newscasts.

The top noon story on all 5 networks showed their reporters standing outside waiting for the press conference. Why? Grrrr

Just locally...the show just came on. They moved the rest of the press conference to streaming video.

Thank goodness for that; so annoying when they tie up programming for non-emergency situations.
