Good morning everybody. It is cold and windy here, but the sun is shining.

I hope to sleep today since I was up all night with cramping in the bad foot. With the compression boot, I couldn't rub my foot or walk it off. Hopefully this is a sign of healing. One more week until I see the surgeon again.

Can't wait for all this snow to melt and let those beautiful flowers, spring forth wherever on sides of roads, etc. Trying to get things together for one report, finding errors, (just a few things not entered during the year...so it means going over everything, pulling bank statements, etc. Friend called to have lunch, so will escape for a bit.
Have a good day.......a bit overcast here.....mid-30s. Catch you all later.

Morning....it's a sunny day today the moon was spectacular last night.... still trying to figure out why it's the "worm" moon.
At Christmas I gave my stepmother a big box of truffles. Something she could share with her friends as she plays cards two nights a week and such. I gave it to her at Thanksgiving, so she's have a chance to share. Anyway she told me last night she still has about a dozen left. She is limiting her self to these just once a week, so she doesn't develop diabetes. The woman will be 96 in April. She also only eats Potato bread because Dr. Oz once said on the radio that that's the only type of bread a body can digest. Okay.....

Getting stuff together for Easter Baskets.... challenging as I have to ship all of them. And they have to fit in individual boxes... candies don't do well and the kids don't really need the sugar load.

out to the trees.... repotting it going to happen today!!!

robinsnest, the Native Americans of the northeast called it the worm moon because the worms are starting to emerge from the ground. Means spring is not far behind.

Poirot, I hope you had a nice lunch.

WW, just a very short nap because people were calling and texting to check on me.

I had posted a few years ago ( when everything was shut down the first year of COVID-19) that long time poster here and a friend in real life, nursehamster, and I found we are related when she helped me with a genealogy problem.
Today we discovered that we're both related to another old poster from here. For the life of me, I can't remember what her name was here. Some of you old timers are also friends with her on Facebook. She was originally from Ohio, and moved to California while posting here.
Then moved to Florida where she met and married her husband, Ray.

It's cloudy here today. There was overnight rain, but it was gone this morning so I could walk. Rain
still in forecast tomorrow.

Today was the circle group meeting. We did something different this time. Everyone was suppose to
eat lunch before we met at the Shiloh Museum. It's a history museum of the area. Then we ate pie
at a small diner. It was nice.

rs, I'm glad you can see the sun and I hope you sleep better tonight. Thanks for finding out about the
worm moon.

Poirot, I hope you had a nice lunch with your friend.

robin, I hope your repotting went well.

I hope everyone has a good rest of the day.

Squirrel, a cramp in the foot without being able to walk it out would be unbearable. How horrible! On a happier note, how interesting that you and nursehamster met here and found out you are related, and now have learned you're both related to the same person. I know who you're talking about but I can't recall the name she used here. I'm not friends with her on Facebook but I do see her there occasionally, probably when she interacts with you and/or nursehamster.

Kat, the Shiloh Museum sounds like something I would enjoy and I'm pretty sure I'd have enjoyed the pie--unless it was a pumpkin pie. Pies are my favorite dessert. Glad you had a break in the rain so you could get out and walk.

Poirot, I feel for you as you have to go through all those reports. Wishing you could be done with that and also see some things flowering or turning green. But better it waits than come out too early and get bitten back, which is usually what happens to some things here.

Robin, I was wondering about the "worm" too. Glad Squirrel answered it. It's a good thing your stepmother doesn't have diabetes, since potatoes are about the worst thing for that. I can't believe you mail Easter baskets! I hope your grandkids realize what a treasure of a grandmother they have.

Wilde Woman, I wonder if you got above the 40s* today.

Speaking of which.....it stayed in the 40s* here and was very cloudy, breezy, and wet. I went to town and was gone from 10 till 4. Had several errands to do and stayed a long time in Walmart. We had only a couple of tenths of rain through the day but it has just now finished with a thunderstorm that brought it up to 3/4". There was almost no wind, just a nice rain with some thunder, which is still rumbling. There could be more rain to come.

I was so cold all day, getting in and out of the car, and I nearly froze in Walmart. One lady told me she'd gone to the restroom and after she washed her hands she stood there with the warm air blower on her hands because it felt sooo good. I was tempted to go in there and just blow warm air on my hands. I still feel chilled tonight. Had to carry in a bunch of groceries and stuff when I got home this afternoon, as it was sprinkling.

Oooh doggie, a BIG thunder just now!
