Morning..... The Summary is up..... if you need a nap watch the show.....
I went to the Bonsai meeting last night.... it was nice seeing folks and such.... I feel terrible due to my bee pollen experiment.... if I can keep the level of discomfort at this level I'll survive spring.... if it gets much worse, I'll be back with medication, inhalers and such..... I NEVER used to have issues... why now?? weird......
I have a couple of things to get done today.... and at the rate of speed I'm moving it could be challenging......

Have a Terrific Thursday......

Cookies Mom: So glad some good news is happening. Will continue to send prayers.

OC: I got SOME rest but I can always use more. I even made it to the night program. Since our usual teacher was not there (and we knew he wouldn't be), those of us who met just started our own lesson. It ended up very interesting as we discussed various scriptures and whether they contained Law or Gospel. After discussing even what appeared to be one or the other, we could figure out each reference had both Law and Gospel. I recommend everyone do this at sometime in their lives.

I worked the Food Pantry today. It was slow at first but very busy at the end. It seems people waited to come, hoping it would warm up. Unfortunately, it only warmed up about 1 degree! It was 35* with WC of 22* when I woke up at 7 a. It is now 38* with 30* WC. I think I will be staying in the rest of the day. Also very cloudy. Tomorrow will be about the same temperature wise but clear skys. Saturday will be in the 50-60s and Sunny. So glad since that's when I go to the workshops about an hour away.

Hoping everyone is having a good day. Remember to turn your day into a Blessing!

Another cloudy day here. It's going to get close to 40 before sunset. There's a chance of snow this afternoon.

I went out after lunch and pushed ice off part of my driveway. I'm hoping ice I didn't clear will melt faster.
Plus, I wanted to get outside since I've been stuck inside for four days.

Yesterday, I washed clothes. Today I cleaned the bathroom. I've been doing studies everyday.

Kris, thanks for answer about the groundhog. So, what he says isn't very accurate. Good to know.

robin, I hope you feel better soon. I'm glad you got to the meeting last night.

nanahl, I'm glad you're didn't get the bad winter weather like some of Texas.

Wilde Woman, I read you finally got snow. Late for winter.

I hope everyone is doing well with the crazy weather.

This morning they were telling the history behind the groundhog deal but I was distracted and didn't hear what they said. Anyway, I haven't heard any local reports but I'm sure Prairie Dog Pete did NOT see his shadow in my area today--at least not yet. They've been saying all day that the sun is going to come out but it hasn't yet. However, I'm happy to say it is above freezing and the ice has gradually been melting for most of the day. Still icicles hanging from the roof and thin ice on some surfaces but the ground is mostly wet and there are wet puddles around. What's wet now will freeze again tonight but I think the falling stuff is finally gone from here. I wish the same for all of you, though it isn't likely for northern regions, I imagine.

Robin, it would be hard to continue with the bee pollen if it is continuing to cause discomfort. Would it be possible to cut back or are you on the lowest level? I have known people to develop allergies later in life. What a blow it must be to never have experienced it and then to be hit with the misery it causes!

Kat, I hope that afternoon snow missed you. Enough is enough, right? Let's tell that to Poirot.

Kris, I think most of us have had our fill of the changing weather this winter. We always get a LOT of back and forth winds when winter is approaching and leaving but it seems like it never quit this time.

Wilde Woman, I enjoyed that movie too. I didn't know there was a Broadway musical of it. I would never have guessed that!

Nana, due to a change in teachers in my Sunday school class almost a year ago, we started having a lot more discussion. It has worked out well. Hey, thanks for getting me straightened out on the day of the week. For some reason I was thinking today was Friday.

I need to finish washing my dishes and dirty up some more. Going to cook some turnip greens. Now if I only had some cornbread and buttermilk to go with them. (An old folk song). The reason I don't have any cornbread is that I don't have any buttermilk. I could use sweet milk to make it but I don't have any of that either).

have watched Groundhog Day several times already, always enjoy it. Probably the only time I enjoyed Bill Murray, thought he did so well in it. Thought it wasn't on TV today, but yes, it is.......on AMC right NOW!
