No walk this morning since it was in the 20s and I had an early doctor appt. It's sunny in the 40s. The weekend
it's suppose to warmer.

I vacuumed one area of the living room and took out the ceramic Christmas tree. I thought I had extension cord
for it. I'll be buying one tomorrow.

My neighbor has been home a few days. I went over and saw Fenix. He kept going to the front door like he does
with me to go out. It was nice seeing him and he remembered me. She leaves today and will be back next Friday
without the pets. She going to retire at the end of the year so I probably won't be taking my buddy out anymore.

I hope everyone has a nice rest of the day.

Sunny and 33, wind starting to die down.

Kat: Glad you saw Fenix. You did a nice thing for your neighbor when you walked him.

Wishing all a great rest of the day.

Cloudy, and just 20 now. But calm
I do wear knee sox in winter, but legs still cold. Wish they sold warmer slacks....but understand how they might be too warm inside for most folks. Or maybe too expensive.

Home from getting my hair cut and other morning chores. Afternoon busy with gift placements so I can get all families things together and shipped off. Then cookies they have to be shipped too....
It's a warmer day.... almost 50!!!

At the grocery store today we found this fun little selection of Donuts....

I can honestly report the Grinch was very tasty....and I've had my last donut of the year..... what was I thinking?? They always leave me feeling blah.... and upsetish tummy wise.....

Happy Friday to all.....

robin, I have the same problem with donuts and other breakfast pasties. I'm not sure what's in them to
make my stomach feel bad.

Poirot, I used to wear panty hose under my pants. Now I wear leggings under them when it's cold.

Wilde Woman, seeing the sun makes the day better even when it's cold.

How weird...........Currently, forecast says we are to be in the very high 30s for the next few days, and then a big plummet down into the teens and single digits. And of course more snow tags along.
Hate this is all we can expect the next 4 months. Ugh.

Poirot, back when I had to work outside a lot I used to wear Cuddl Duds long under pants--sort of like long handles, only they were some kind of real soft, silky-like fabric on the outside and a more cozy feel inside. I wore tops and bottoms, loved them. Cuddl Duds are still around but like everything else now, they have the spandex cling in them, which I can't stand. I don't like clothes clinging to me but it seems maybe most people do, since almost everything now has it. Just thinking you might be able to find something on Amazon. I've ordered some tops for extra warmth around the house but they aren't like the Cuddl Duds I enjoyed decades ago either. I always wear knee socks too.
