It is 39 and sunny today, pretty nice for December.

Today is Giving Tuesday, so please be more aware of email and text/phone scams!

Whether you donate money or your time, whatever you do today, please be safe and careful...and thank you!

Thanks Wilde Woman. You have a great day.

Phew, it's been a morning already. My parents flew to Halifax, Nova Scotia late last night so my mother could spend a few days with her sister before she passes, which will happen by the end of the year. Then an aunt on the other side of the family has been in the hospital the last few weeks and she passed away last night , so this morning has been lots of phone calls and chats with cousins. Despite the sad circumstances, the family will all be getting together which always a fun time with this side of the family, regardless of funeral, wedding, reunions. Unfortunately, sometimes funerals are the only time families gather.

Besides the above, today is a beautiful day with temperatures in the +. After the weather we've had the last few weeks, this is so welcome.

Have a great day everyone. And for those out east, I hope you've been successful in getting through the snow. I hear a lot fell.

My condolences on your loss, but it’s always good to see family even in sad circumstances.

39 here today though I woke up to 27, blah. Girls are at school, Siege and I have a lunch date with my mom and we are doing some shopping. She’s playing elf for her manager and doing some boobie trapping at her house this weekend.

It's sunny and in the 40s today. I walked with my friend after the summary posted today since it was in the 20s this
morning. I had a hair cut close to home. When I left, my tire light came on. I had to make a special trip out to get tires
looked at. Tires fine for tomorrow's traveling. I'll be doing studies this afternoon.

Muzzaman, sorry to hear about your aunts. It's good your close to other members of your family.

Wilde Woman, enjoy your pretty day.

I hope everyone will have a good rest of the day.

Thanks everyone. Have already seen cousins I haven't seen in years. My dad's side of the family is so big so it's hard to getting together. Lots of laughs today.

Kat, are you going on a bit of a roadtrip or for local travel?

Kris, enjoy the day with your mom.

Robin, have fun at soccer

Robin, yea for the hospitality room!

Kat, glad your tires are okay for upcoming travels.

Kris, brrr, a chilly morning for you. Hope you enjoyed your time out with your mom.

Muzz, I'm so sorry for your losses. You're right about funerals being the most common reason for getting together with relatives, especially as time goes by.

Wilde Woman, it's good to be reminded to be on the alert when giving. This time of year there are so many requests from all kinds of places.

Poirot, I hope you aren't covered in snow.

We're getting ready to have cattle worked the end of this week. I've been out driving around and checking on things, also messing with a cow and calf that got separated, etc. The two younger grandsons still get excited about calling cows with the siren and such. My truck that we use to feed cubes and call the cows is dead so my niece and I have been trying to "make do" with other vehicles that don't quite do the job. Frustrating and challenging, trying to figure out what to do about it. Battery doesn't seem to be dead and has been on charger but something else is going on--or not going on. I've had the boys cleaning up their toys from the yard, in anticipation of my cows being moved over here. Daughter-in-law will have to take up the Christmas lights she put on the ground surrounding their camper. Some other preventative measures have to be done as well. Also something's been digging holes to go under my guest house and my house landing at the back steps. A skunk has been seen out and about but I don't know if he's the culprit or not.

Muzzaman, I'm going to Bible study tomorrow. It's 30 miles from house, but there's no place to
stop on the way to fill up my tires.

OC, how much longer will your son and his family be visiting? Good luck with the cattle this week.

Kris, I hope you had a nice lunch with your mom and Siege.

Kat, when you had your tires checked after your warning light came on, were any needing air?If you have to fill the tires now, every so often, and watch, .............well, if me, I'd get new tires.......however they do have portable air things now, that you can carry in your vehicle, might be something to think about. They run between $30-$50..... No, have never used one, but I live in town, and no longer travel any distances, Just a thought.......

Kat, glad your tires are good. A lady here in Edmonton had an alert on her phone that she had low tire pressure, when she went to check, all her tires were gone! They have the theft on ring cam, but no word if they caught them yet. Very sad and such a hassle and cost for her.

Muzza, sorry for your loss. Last year we went to a "Living Will" in Red Deer for hubby's brother. He had terminal cancer and was just tired of taking medications, treatments etc. He had a last wish and that was to visit with his family and friends from across Canada. There were about 50 people there. It was the best thing ever! We all had great fun and tears with him. When he got back home he stopped taking any medication and passed away peacefully in his sleep in September.

Not quite as graceful as a horse but looks fun and would get more attention.

Kat, I think my son's family will be here until Friday or Saturday. He's pushing hard to finish a couple of remodeling projects inside their camper while they're here.

Hey O.C..........................I was just about to post to you that tho we were completely snow covered ....was only around an inch or so............just then news came on mentioning us getting snow...looked out...............it was anowing!! This was around 6 p.m. and now it is 10:30 and, yep, still snowing.........ugh! lol.

This is the first time my light went on when the temps got cold in a couple of years. It was in the 20s when I got my hair
done. I should have asked them how much each tire got. I'm glad there's a new place in in the little town that fill up tires.
I'm not good doing it myself at a self service station. If I need air again soon, I'll see what's needed. Last time, I had a tire
with a slow leak and I didn't need air for a couple of months before it got worse.

Mrs. Clean, that's terrible to have your tires taken while parked.
