It's cloudy again and close to 60. I saw the sun briefly on the way home from church. Tues it's cold weather time.

Today I went to church to get it ready for Sunday. I put in almost 6000 steps there. I stayed longer than I usually do
and did a lot more things. Another woman came by and she helped for awhile. I was there two hours longer than
I usually home and dropped off the paper on the way home. I'll be back on Monday.

I hope everyone has a nice rest of the day and good weekend.

gUESS WACKY weather has really spread it's wings.........tis 41° here, it's cold but not all that bad. Cloudy, foggy, overcast, etc. It rained, plus a lot of the the snow melted, so puddles & mud, all over. tomorrow, rain, snow, who knows as 36 predicted for the high, and then each day after, the high will be lower, lol. 26, 20, then 15 for Tues, Wed, Thurs.. along with snow...and then down to 11.......and who the heck knows? I no longer trust the weather people, as weather seems to have a mind of it's own, loving to play tricks on the gullible public. Ha.
Most of the snow melted, maybe only 5% of it left. For whatever reason, folks did not seem to send Christmas cards this year, think I got just 2 or 3.............far cry from the 20-40 in years past. And then, my daughter tells me she got a message from her post office saying a note she wrote me had not been delivered. I have no idea if her P.O. did not send it on, or if it got here, and then sent back to her. Very odd.
Made a fast run to the store, got most of what I wanted, forgot a couple. Grrrrr. Not all that impt. but I did not want to have to go out next several days. And I do not like driving in evening......tho stores open........Oh, well, will see what the weather has in store for us.....
Enjoy the day and evening......

Am glad we are now on the other side of losing light and will be gaining. Gets dark here so early.......And Stays running pretty late in the a.m. We don't see any light til nearly 7:30, later if we have dark cloudy day or rain. Probably be mid Jan. or later, before it might be noticable Sighhhh.

Poirot, then once the extra morning light is noticeable, it won't be long until they slam us with Daylight Savings Time, making it dark longer in the morning again. Oh well, beating a dead horse......

I'm back from Dallas. It was a whirlwind trip and I'm glad to be back home. I do so appreciate my daughter and my niece for getting me there and back. I didn't want to miss attending my cousin's graveside service. Sad and yet good sharing sweet memories with cousins.
It was cold (to me) in my daughter's house and miserably cold for me at the grave site. Temperature wasn't that low but the wind was blowing and increasing during the service and while we stood around visiting for a while afterwards. I was shivering and aching inside, but it was warm in the car on the trip home and as soon as I got here I took a hot shower. Now I must find something to eat.

Spent the am at the doctor with HB was able to change the March appt to mid April. Then off to Stepmoms. Took her shopping and to the post office things her kids are unable to do. (WHY????)

Off early tomorrow morning. Will check in when I can.
