Oh no, Lil0, wind is the worst! Hope you don't loose electricity this time.
Kat, we're dropping back to below freezing tomorrow night as well. I hope it only lasts for one night. Will you be seeing your son during the holidays?
Sexton, 80* again would be okay with me. There's a reason you live where you do. I don't know if that is part of it or not but mild winters would seem appealing to some of us.
Wilde Woman, Saturday Evening Post pictures are always a treat. I'm glad you are getting some sunshine again. Hope you got as much rain as you needed.
Robin, thanks for the fun, cute card. At first I thought it was just going to be snow scenes but then came the adorable animal clips. It's getting to seem like cute or funny animals are the thing I find most appealing to watch anymore.
I don't know what I've got but it's like a ping pong ball--back and forth. Maybe it's just allergy and is following the flip flops of the ever changing wind. Last night all of my upper cavities felt all dried and calm, thanks to the help of a steroid shot. But this morning the spigot was turned on again. My niece is picking up an antibiotic prescription for me in town this afternoon, which the doctor gave me more as a precautionary against secondary infections than anything he saw concerning yesterday, which as far as I could tell was nothing.
Nice weather day here, mostly sunny, clouds up from time to time. 70*. Skunk seems to be living under my guest house again. I hope no one needs to sleep out there anytime soon. I can't do anything about it right now and I don't know what to do about it ever. My niece swears by mothballs but I guess I didn't put mine in the opening right or else my skunk likes them. The horrible creature was prancing around between my son's camper and my house (which is only a few feet in between) in the evenings while they were here. The kids would bring the plates of food their mother fixed for them into my house to eat so no doubt some of it got dropped or spilled in between.
I hardly ever watch movies but while sitting/lying around so much over the weekend I happened to have the tv on FETV, where I watch old westerns and other things like Perry Mason and Emergency, when By the Light of the Silvery Moon, followed by On Moonlight Bay came on. (Or maybe Moonlight Bay was first). I'd seen the first one a few times in the past but didn't know there was a followup. It was a nice change for me. I don't get Turner Classics anymore, since going to a smaller package, so I haven't looked for other movies, since there are so few I care to watch. Guess I won't see Shop Around the Corner this year but it doesn't matter. I've seen it so many times and seems like only a short while since last Christmas anyway. I found I do get Hallmark, keep thinking I'll watch it sometime but just haven't.
