Hi everybody. We're getting rain again. Our beautiful snow (from last week's major storm) melted with the torrential rain yesterday, and of course the basement pumps had to be turned on. Hopefully they're still doing their job today while I'm at work.
Hopefully the work drama will finally start easing up. An advertisement for my position is supposed to go in the newspaper, on the website, on Indeed, and placed with PA CarreerLink (used to be called the Pennsylvania Employment Office).
Poirot, please send me your snow. I hate this rain. Plus the dampness chills me to the bone.
Our local weather folks are calling for a lot of lake effect snow this winter because they aren't expecting Lake Erie to completely freeze over. That means as the weather from Poirot moves over Ontario, Canada, it'll pick up more that normal moisture as it comes down over Lake Erie to me. As long as I don't get 3 or more feet of snow in one storm like they did across I-90 from Cleveland, Ohio, over to Buffalo, NY, it'll be ok.
