Steady rain all day so far, 46 degrees, and I am so grateful. Up to 60 tomorrow with more rain, then a dip in temps.

Lots of pigeon action on the terrace. We are friends now.

Wishing all a great day!

And tis snowing here, lightly, but steady.......and 23°. By Thursday our high is to be just 2° with a night time low of 9 below zero. Hope I don't find myself out of something, or needing to run out to the store, WalMart, ANYWHERE. LOL for the next several days. (gonna snow for a lot of those days.

Hi everybody. We're getting rain again. Our beautiful snow (from last week's major storm) melted with the torrential rain yesterday, and of course the basement pumps had to be turned on. Hopefully they're still doing their job today while I'm at work.

Hopefully the work drama will finally start easing up. An advertisement for my position is supposed to go in the newspaper, on the website, on Indeed, and placed with PA CarreerLink (used to be called the Pennsylvania Employment Office).

Poirot, please send me your snow. I hate this rain. Plus the dampness chills me to the bone.

Our local weather folks are calling for a lot of lake effect snow this winter because they aren't expecting Lake Erie to completely freeze over. That means as the weather from Poirot moves over Ontario, Canada, it'll pick up more that normal moisture as it comes down over Lake Erie to me. As long as I don't get 3 or more feet of snow in one storm like they did across I-90 from Cleveland, Ohio, over to Buffalo, NY, it'll be ok.

A cloudy day here. It's barely in the 40s this afternoon.

The driveway guys are back taking the concrete out of the driveway. I happened to hear them since the owner
didn't let me know they were coming. I got my car in neighbor's garage, but it looks like it won't go like I was
told in Oct. I was told I could use driveway after a couple of days. Since they didn't get job before Thanksgiving
because of rain, now it might be a week. Neighbor comes home Friday and I won't get to use her garage. I
hope I can park in her driveway. Forecast says rain coming too. Ticks me off. And they parked in front of my
mailbox. Did I have mail today? Mailman didn't put any inside.

rs, I hope they find someone soon for your job so you have plenty of time to train them.

Wilde Woman, enjoy your feathery friends.

Poirot, I hope you have plenty of food to last awhile.

I hope everyone has a nice rest of the day.

Crazy day here.... I thought I'd already checked in but nope..... gifts wrapped now need to put stockings together and then can ship out... as I type this I realize I still have gifts to wrap and get ready to ship.... poop......Oh well, none of the boxes can go without cookies and those aren't ready yet..... I've picked up some paying work Thursday and Friday.....tried to get one for Monday but someone snagged it before I could....

it's been cool today..... I'd say cold but it's been warmer than Poirot so cool will work..... HB is always cold so the furnace is set to 73 and it's so hot in the house at night.... but he's cold even at 73.... so....

Good Tuesday evening to all....

I am always cold these days, so know exactly how HB feels. However, it is weird, that despite the thermostat set here at 73........I can wake in the morning and find it 69 or 70. I can't help but think the heating system has some sort of built in overide thing.........so it just gets cooler during the night when everyone is sleeping. After all, it's winter up here, everyone is in flannel night wear, blanket, and when waking up, on goes the robe. LOL
A lot of the neighbors' homes here have no lights on as it gets dark, so guessing they have "gone home" for the holidays. No idea. We are in mid-week, so not just a weekend getaway.

Depending on what your usual weather is.........a big drop can feel terribly cold to you, while it might feel normal to me. Probably the same when the hot weather hits up here, but those temps don't bother you at all! :)
