I also voted early. - a week ago!.............Another chilly, overcast, cloudy day here, guessing it will rain again. We had such a dry, rainless spring and summer, and now it rains. LOL (we needed it, so not complaining. Just wish Mother Nature would get back on track. )
Rain stopped an hour before walk time. Over 5 more inches of rain on Monday. We've had 11 inches or
more in my neighborhood since Friday. It will be awhile before the water leaves ditch. More rain later
in week. My hairdresser said one backroad closed due to flooding It's cloudy and in the low 60s today.
Tornados north of me last night where a big tornado was on Memorial Day. No report on damage yet.
I was listening to a TV station on the radio last night. Then it stopped. I found out a tornado close
to where the station is. It was weird hearing it all on the radio, but that's all I had with no internet or
cable for over 9 hours.
I'll be catching up on my studies today. I needed to do research, but couldn't yesterday. I voted earlier
That's a lot of rain, Kat. Yes it is raining now.......but we have not had anywhere near that amount here. But sure is chilly.........I'd say cold, but up here, that would be 30s, and it is 45 currently. (However, I feel COLD, LOLOL)
In this house we have a self cleaning oven.... I'll be making my Christmas Cookies soon so I thought I'd clean the oven..... I've never had a self cleaning oven before... it takes over 4 hours and smells horrific..... it's chilly out but the entire house is opened in an attempt to dilute the smell....
Still have vacuuming and mopping to do....
I also have self cleaning oven........have never used the feature. I clean myself.....and now, don't use it much, so cleaning it by hand is quicker, easier, and definitely doesn't stink up the house. LOL Sorry for the problems you endured, Robin. Hope you won't need to do it again for a long time.
Still 44 here, plus still raining.........am sure this all will be heading towards WW, while the winds from the west move in, tho am thinking that they won't be as bad way up north here, HOPEFULLY!!
