Morning, all. Isn't it weird how your mind works overtime even while sleeping?!? At 4:20am, I Jolted awake realizing the first is tomorrow, not Monday and ought to have completed a bunch of data entries by the close of business on the first which Sunday, NOT Monday so should have had it done yesterday. So I was wide awake, got up, put on a coffee and logged into work in to get this done today.

How are all your Thanksgiving weekends going? I hope your friends and family arrived safely or your travels went well or just enjoying the down time.

Last night was a stay in, have a fire and chill. These cold winter nights are the nights that get me in the mood to bake so I poured a spiced rum and coke with a lime wedge and baked lemon sugar cookies and gingerbread to bake various cutouts.

Today and tomorrow I have no plans so good days to do a good cleaning. Take care everyone.

Woke up several different times during the night, first was 12:30, then 2:45, next was 4:45, 5:30, and finally 6:45 gave it up, out of bed, etc. AT first I thought perhaps there had been a noise outside, I was checking out the window, etc. Nope. Actually, hardly anyone around here, as away visiting I am guessing, since no lights on in homes next door or in back.

My son had driven up, for Thanksgiving, insisted we go out for dinner, we did....and he left around 3:30 in the afternoon. Like me he doesn't care to drive at night, plus it was snowing. Disadvantage of eating out is NO leftovers next day We had more snow flakes added Friday, so it is all white out there. Not enough to plow or shovel, thank goodness. Roofs all white of course, and I guarantee you it is cold, cold and more cold. 14° Thanksgiving night, high yesterday was 18.... and currently? it is 3° Trying to get fireplace to stay on......keeps going out. (gas) Wonder if so cold the gas line has frozen up???

That was some dream, Muzza......bet you are glad that is what it was.......
With me, just kept thinking, I guess, something was needing my attention. Probably to get another blanket, lol.

The Big Chill is on. 33 and windy, will feel colder due to wind. Going out shortly with my warmest long puffer coat, hat and gloves. Should be invigorating. It is Small Business Saturday so will try to support the small stores in my neighborhood.

Muzza: So true about thinking about things or getting inspired at odd hours. Love your drink and cookies snack, sounds yummy. An extra added plus is that the cookies were not tainted/poisoned!

Poirot: Sorry you had a restless night. Stay cozy!

Wishing all a wonderful last day of November.

LOL, 33 would be a welcome warm spell here today, WW! But I know adding wind makes it much colder. Glad you will be donning nice warm things. Doubt I will be venturing out, No wind, and actually the sun appeared, haven't seen it for a while now. But, only went up to 4°, I even have an electric space heater going, in addition to the fireplace. I know the hot shower will be nice, but once you shut off the water........shiver me timbers, lolol.

We got our COVID vaccine yesterday..... I ache everywhere...... even my glasses are too heaving on my nose.....

sleeping off and on..... more on than off......

Will return tomorrow.... maybe will be human again.......

This is my normal reaction to getting the booster.... so not worried.... just wish I'd feel better faster....

Poirot - I know that 33 here is balmy for you and others! It was fine, and I didn't go far!

Robin: I had the same reaction when I had my Covid vaccine in October. The pharmacist reminded me that this was not a booster but a new vaccine created to fight the new strain, and that more people reported feeling very lousy. You will feel better in two days or even less! Take care of yourself, and let yourself sleep.

A sunny afternoon in the 50s today.

Muzzaman, I'm glad you remembered what day it was to get your work done.

Poirot, I'm glad you had a nice Thanksgiving with your son.

robin, feel better soon.

Wilde Woman, I'm glad you didn't stay in the cold very long.

I hope everyone has a pleasant afternoon.

Oh, my gosh Pennsylvania really got clobbered with snow, Hope they get plowed out, shoveled and all that has to be done. We are expecting snow on sunday, sure hope it is not much, and it waits til evening to arrive, so all the visitors can get out and back home......my son being one of them.

A quick evening hello. A nice day here, mostly sunny and chilly. All three of my kids were here today, with six of my nine grandchildren. Daughter, son-in-law and their grown grandson have gone back to Dallas. The others still here.

Wishing all a good Sunday and safety and warmth to all who have snow.
