Happy birthday rf, and happy Thanksgiving to all. I think I may have ruined the pumpkin pies, so I made a carrot cake too. Hopefully, all will find a dessert to enjoy. 14 here for dinner today.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! May blessings from on high reach out to everyone of us and all those we love. Thank you to all of my Spectator friends for almost another whole year, and God Bless everyone. Oh and love to all the doggies and kitties and other pet family members!
20° and snowing like crazy here, took off shoes and donned trusty ol boots. Forecast said "light" snow, but nothing light about what is coming down. Glad we don't have far to go for T day dinner. Just did not expect this.......

Happy birthday, Sexton. Hope you got some pecan pie today.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. My daughter-in-law cooked a wonderful meal. I'm sitting here too stuffed to move, after forcing down a little bit of irresistible pecan pie and apple pie, following a delicious meal.
The boys, who are most always cheerful, were up and outside first thing this morning, in a cold north wind with cloudy sky. No shoes or jackets, one of them in knee shorts. The 10 yr. old did put on a hooded sweat shirt after a while, and the 6 yr. old put on his jacket briefly, then shed it. Both were without shoes.
Lil0, hope your pies were okay.

Buttermilk pie cooling, apple/Cranberry dump cake in the crock pot, Spanish rice and cornbread ready for reheating....enchiladas prepared waiting for the oven, refried beans are coming....
