No Soccer for me hand appointment where the results of last month's injection is still providing relief!! No other major changes just the slow progression.... at least it's slow.....

a brisk 50 degrees today so all the inside house work is enjoyable only because it's warm..... there is that..... HB has some fun outside things to do, so looking forward to those..... not.....

Dang it........SNOWING here. Just began a little while ago........went out to get the mail, and it had just begun. It is fine snow, but now is beginning to show up on the grass. Well, I had pulled my boots front and center in the closet a couple day s ago........But am not planning on going out today......You'd think for all the years I have lived in Wisconsin, I would be used to it. LOL Well, I am, but I now have added years. I have skidded into snowbanks, and got stuck in ditches. One time, coming home, turn into my road, and right there, by the mailbox, the car slid right into a snowbank, and refused to come out. Wheels spinning on the ice........but a couple very nice truck drivers came to the rescue. LOL
 
It was in the low 40s when I walked this morning. It's sunny and in the 50s this afternoon.

I took off the top of the birdbath today and I could have left it longer since the nighttime
temps won't be as low as first forecasted. The squirrel couldn't understand why the top
off. I put a bird pan on the bench so maybe he'll see it. I have another pan I can put on
the ground later.

I'm working on the roster for my high school class. It's taking longer than expected. I have to
fix names of people who are no longer alive. Next meeting, Tuesday and I need to be almost
done with project.

robin, I found another picture for children's day with misspelling. Did they have kids make them?
I hope HB got his outside chores done.

56 with light rain, heavier rain arriving tonight. Yay!

Kat: Nice choice for one of today's celebrations. Sometimes they are wacky, like National Toilet Day. I passed on that one. What can one say about that without cracking wise? I feel flushed just thinking about it.

Robin: I might not be a grandma, but I am a "grammar-ma.":) Glad your progression is progressing.

Poirot: So it started already. Stay safe and at home when you can.
 
Trying to stay awake here. I've been awake since 3:30 this morning. Had alarm set for 6:15 but woke up earlier and could not go back to sleep. My handyman came to install an under-sink water filter, which I'd bought a couple of months ago and he's just now getting back to install it. It took a lot longer than expected because he had to cut into the (solid board) wall below the sink to get at the place to tie it into the cold water pipe. Almost got it set up but found he didn't have two connections he needed so he's coming back on Friday to finish it and also to put in the replacement tiles on the backsplash behind the faucet.

Robin, those expressions are so funny!

I must get up and move around. I'm fading out......
