My morning started at 4am with a phone call from the Alert people to be alert for flooding..... It had been raining for a while and the sky had been doing it's thing, the thing the BEAST does not like..... I was able to get back to sleep but the rain has continued..... sometimes it's a hard downpour other times it's a gentle rain it's nice....unless the sky does that thing.....and well rain is wet and difficult to go outside in if you are small and not spoiled beyond belief......

I have inside the house things I can be doing so after the weekly mail run I'll get started on those....

Have a great Saturday.....

It's cloudy here today and high close to 70. Rain starts tomorrow through Monday. We might have over
4 inches of rain before it's over. (update they say my area may have 2 to 6 inches of rain)

I decided at little library to walk when I got home. It started sprinkling, but nothing on my walk. I'll be inside
this afternoon.

robin, I hope you won't get flooding.

Remember to change your clocks before going to bed. It's time to fall back.

Just returned from errands. Absolute perfection outside, 60 and sunny with a slight wind.

Robin: Send some rain over here, we need it. I do hope your neighborhood will be okay. Hope your inside chores go well.

Kat: Hope the rain is not too much. Glad you got a walk in.

I thought Daylight Savings would be no more, heard rumors, but looks like it is here to stay for now. Let's enjoy the extra hour of sleep.

Kat, I'm glad you mentioned the time change. I remembered it all week but had forgotten about it today.

I hope everybody gets enough but not too much rain. They're saying a few inches here but these things can be spread all over the place. Right now the radar shows action south of me and west of me, both moving northeast. The edge of the one west of me may catch me or not. Still, there are chances for a day or two so maybe I'll get some of it.

Nothing else going on here. I woke up at 4:30 this morning with a migraine. Got up and fooled around, trying to get it under control. Took a pill, tried three different beds and eventually went to sleep and woke up free of the pain at 11:30! I've never done anything like this before. Breakfast is my best meal and I missed it completely. Went ahead and ate half a BBQ sandwich my niece brought me from town yesterday. (In my opinion hamburgers and BBQ sandwiches these days have an obscene amount of meat on them. I raked off at least half the meat and still could eat only half). Feeling hungry again now. Will probably open a can of soup for my supper. Still feeling groggy and exhausted but so relieved to be free of the pain for now.

I'd better go set those clocks now before I forget about it again. I have 8. Half are on the walls. Two are a challenge to get at. This doesn't include the one in the car, which I'll tackle some other time. The outside air is heavy and overcast and damp, temperature is 70*. Glad I went to the mailbox earlier.

Good afternoon. Looks like that time of year when weather can go any which way and sometime surprise us! Here, we received an alert that Monday could bring severe winds -- with probably a lot of road closures and power outages. Not looking forward to that! We are advised to get our ballots dropped off while we still can get out and about.

LOL, just changed all my clocks..........except the grandfather clock on the wall. And am hesitant to try, as I have a small, round wooden wall clock that I took down, and it decided to take a trip of it's own, over a file cabinet, onto the floor, broke the face glass into 4 pieces, nicked off a piece of the wood, and sent the battery into hiding. Believe it or not, after I put in new battery, the dang clock still worked!!!!So is back on the wall, but will probably get a new one, don't know if it will continue to work with no faceglass anymore........will see. Changed the clocks on the microwave and the stove. That leaves the car......and I also will leave that ...perhaps tomorrow?? I hate changing the clocks....one can never quite get them all to coincide to the exact same time........at least I can't ................Close, but no cigar as the old saying goes.

Ha, ha, Poirot, my mother-in-law used to say, "Close but no cigar" all the time. Haven't heard it since she's been gone, long time ago.
Oh, I had the same problem as you with getting all my clocks to read the same. So sorry your wall clock got broken.

Sheesh, Bad enough we lose daylight, but it was cloudy all days, it rained a bit, stayed cloudy, oops today is Sunday, I guess am in wrong thread.
