Good morning all. WOW!!! What a moon that was last night and actually it is still out. The bright sun in the east and a huge moon to the west. Very cool.

It's 9:19am and I did and am doing something I never do. I came back to bed for a wee bit of nap (said in a Newfoundlander accent). Mike went to his cousin's 50th birthday in another town which left me to get into trouble with my best bud. LOL!! Hoo boy, was a fun night. Dinner at a pub down the road and stayed for 3 hours then back to my place, then across the cul de sac to his place to watch the Mike Tyson match. What a disappointing boxing match.

Today we are making an African Lamb Peanut Stew with homemade naan bread.

My niece is currently out in Toronto to see Taylor Swift tonight. She is so excited

Have a good weekend everyone.

Been awake since 4 a.m. never saw any big bright moon, was dark out all the time, tho it was pretty bright last night. Right now, pretty sunny, tho lots of clouds around. It was so very still earlier this a.m., but boy, sure is windy now. And every now and then, a big gust comes in and really gets the huge pine trees swaying. Funny thing, for as windy as it is, it's not blowing the fallen leaves around at all. Strange. it's 46 right now......they were talking snow next week, but last night, said it is gonna be warmer than expected, so, it will probably be rain instead. Mother Nature seems to be changing her mind constantly. LOL

Poirot, don't you usually have snow on the ground well before now? I woke up to big wind gusts this morning too. It's sunny today but rain is due tomorrow.

Muzz, I would not be able to keep up with you for half a day or even for half an hour but you sure do have a good time and I enjoy reading about your adventures.

Slow moving here this morning. I've gotten into a routine of getting up in the night for a while, then going back and sleeping late. The only sound of activity right now is the wind and a White-Crowned Sparrow pecking away in a small plastic bird feeder box that sticks to the big window near the table where I'm sitting. I'm already feeling like I want to take a nap but I need to push on and try to get some things done.

Muzz, I wouldn't know a Newfoundlander accent if I heard one but I do like your expression, "a wee bit of nap." Language is so interesting to me so it's always fun to hear of expressions and words used in areas other than my own.

Squirrel, I hope you didn't get sick again, from being chilled a couple of days ago.

Oh, yes.........we once had 12 in. of snow fall on Halloween!! Unusual for us to be having 45-50° weather in middle of November. However, am hearing that this continues thru Tuesday, with Wed. bringing us back to normal, highs in very low 30s, and perhaps even some snow. LOL (but guessing it will be rain)

My niece's husband had two significant O2 sat drops last night but was breathing slightly better 1052 am mountain time. Please pray. We need a miracle

I am beginning to think hospital is not paying attention
Student nurse saw alarming symptoms
Hurried to get help suddenly there was a big respiratory team there

Hospitals must have "code" teams.....as the PA system will be calling letters&numbers then a room # and a dozen people come running. Saw this a couple times when my husband was in the hospital. First time I was leaving his room, and had to quickly get out of the way, Next time it happened, I just plastered myself up against nearest wall. Gotta say, amazing how staff just immediately stops whatever they are doing, don't even know if they even say to a patient (if they are with one) "gotta go"

Sexton, I have been praying for him but I didn't realize his condition was that critical. I knew it was serious though. I will continue. Maybe the respiratory team was able to figure out something helpful??

I just got home from my walk. I don't get to walk Sat mornings since I'm doing errands. It's sunny and high 60s.
I wore too much for my walk.

I was going to dust the shelves where the movies are today, but realized the tops of the DVDs need dusting too.
I got one section done.

rf, sorry to hear about your nephew in law. I hope he gets better.

Muzzaman, is a Newfoundlander accent like a Scottish one (Xander)?

OC, I hope you got some chores done today.

Poirot, I hope you'll able to get your shopping done today.

I hope everyone has a nice rest of the day.

Ya, the Newfie accent is closer to Irish but a bit harder to understand. Lol!! My buddy battling cancer is from Newfoundland. We here in Alberta, I'd say sound more like Montana. Growing up in Southern Alberta and having spent so much time in Montana, I see Southern Alberta and Montana as the same.

RF, hoping there's an upswing in your son in law's health.

Poirot, I hear ya on that snow. Knock on wood, we don't see it for a bit.

Kat, I have some dusting that needs doing. ;)
