Good Friday Morning!!! We had a two pound Costco bag of chocolate for our hoard of kids..... We had our costumes on, lights on, dog at the ready..... for 1 family with 2 kids...... so now we have a Costco bag of chocolate to solace us for the next several days...... The dog however was thrilled to see two kids at his door.....
Our weather is cool but the wind for now has dropped to acceptable levels..... some areas were going to be foggy but I didn't see anything in this area when the BEAST needed to potty....

I hope everyone has a good day.... and a great weekend.....

The sun is coming out after a rainy morning. But not nearly enough rain, probably not even measurable. 75 now, dropping tonight.

Robin: Enjoy the chocolate and glad you escaped the fog.

The typical work week is over, let's rejoice!

It was foggy this morning at walk time. The sun is out now and close to 70. Rain comes
again Sun and Mon.

I didn't have a lot of trick or treaters last night. I'll keep the tootsie roll pops for next year.

After lunch, I went out and raked the pile of leaves I put along ditch on Wed. That
job is done for now.

Wilde Woman, I'm glad you got some rain.

robin, you can put chocolate in the freezer if you have room.

rf, I hope you enjoyed your pedicure.

I hope everyone has a good afternoon and nice weekend.

I went to Costco yesterday I picked up some prescriptions and got a "house shirt" for HB alas the shirt wasn't big enough... he's always cold so I got a coat for him to wear in the house so we don't have to spend lots keeping it warm..... I went back to return it today.... In line in front of me a lady had a large bag of candy that she was returning! Shocking.... I've taken the 3 musketeers, snickers, and Milky Ways and put them in the freezer.... the Twix can go to the trash for all I care.... I did find a heavy weight flannel shirt for HB but not the same shirt only bigger which was disappointing....the new shirt was $5. cheaper so there is that.....

Halloween is gone and Thanksgiving is almost completely up...

The weather is supposed to turn nasty this around 6 tonight, it's currently looking okay.... but we won't be headed out to the football game tonight... I'd rather not sit in a downpour and watch the team lose and grandson not play because it's the last game and the seniors need to have the honor of loosing a billion to naught.....

Hope everyone has a good Friday evening....

I found a page I have seen multiple times today, always asking me for a code on another page, which I don't seem to be able to get, despite mutiple tries. Always says......."failed to load".

Robin, you're a good grandma. I don't think I'd go out and watch my grandkids play football if the weather were perfect and they were winning. I wish you could find HB a shirt like I used to have and probably still do have, in my storage building. It was green and black plaid flannel with a soft lining of the quilted, satin-like material. Super soft and comfortable and also warm.

Sexton, it's great to hear you treated yourself and the pedicure was better than you expected! So nice to feel pampered.

Kat, it's a relief that your ditch is done for now. I hope it lasts for a long time.

Robin, all kinds of scenarios are going through my mind on what would be the best way to get that cow out of there. Also thinking if that were one of my cows she would probably have already torn up several hay bales, while eating her way of of the tight spot.
