10/4/24 - Donuts and National Cinnamon Roll Day

ooohh, so do I. Nothing better on a frosty morning, for sure. Yep, 28° out there, and it is to repeat the next few nights tho will be up in low 60s during day. Yep, Fall has definitely made it's presence known. LOL. The grass has a frosty white layer on it this a.m. Guess cannot put off a sweater under a jacket any longer. Oh, a jacket is a must........(especially when you go into a store with a/c,,,,,,LOL, my skin turns red, itches as sooo cold. One WalMart employee told me once that they have no control, temp is set by the home base for ALL the stores, and of course that doesn't take into consideration the OUTSIDE temps vary a lot a times. I guess they base it all on store being super crowded or something. I have seen people leave their carts near the door as not finished shopping, to go outside to warm up!!!

It's sunny and going to be in the 90s today. I had my window closed last night.
I planned to work outside this morning, but I have a cold. I'm going to rest today. I changed my sheets and
put the electric blanket on. I like having it on when I have a cold.

Morning, I slept with the bedroom window closed last night, and we didn't have a barking episode at 6:45....so I guess I will continue to sleep with the window closed. We are having a cool down day today but tomorrow we will be back up in the mid 90's.
We will be attending an away football game tonight....
Yesterday my youngest called he needed pictures of himself from Halloween's in the past. I let him know he had the same pictures as I did. A couple of years ago, I had all my photos scanned and put on disk, and thumb drive. But he doesn't know where the thumb drive is and yada yada I spent the early evening going through I found lots of pictures, sent them to him, he enjoyed getting them.

Kat, I'm sorry you have a cold. An electric blanket sounds good. I just finished drinking an icy cold smoothy and I'm almost shivering right now. About to go get in a hot shower.
Poirot, Wal-Mart stores are the same here, but then most business places are that way here and even some people keep their homes too cold for me to tolerate.
Sexton, you do get some yummy things to eat!
But Robin, it's so much easier to call and ask Mom to go through her pictures and send them than to keep up with ones she already sent. After all, mom's are there to handle things, right? Haha, I imagine your kids are as busy as mine and most everyone else's.
I went outside this morning and picked up fallen twigs and pulled some weeds, in anticipation of my mower guy coming today or tomorrow. The deer were back already but I didn't see them until I opened the door, which made them bolt and run away. The crows had a fit when I went out. It sounded like hundreds of them out behind my yard.
I started this a couple of hours ago but my phone rang before I finished. Now I'm going to have to eat some lunch before I can take my shower.

if you get called or asked to provide a "Halloween" breakfast the above is a very easy to make suggestion and it's cinnamon rolls. Yes, living with 3 males I have a collection of terrible food selections..... just recently HB had black cherry "brain" as I had unpacked my jello mold.....
