I haven't had this in years. Used to enjoy the Dunkin' Donuts Boston Cremes. Sorry if this is tempting some of you. I will just content myself with Farmer Cheese and Mango chunks

Maybe the mowing is to chew up all the fallen leaves throughout the yard? Wonder when it will get done here. Admittedly we have a great many pines, but the maples, & birch have dropped nearly 3/4 of their leaves, which the wind spread out all over.

But truly, a Happy Birthday to our ShawnP..........Hope you have a wonderful, fun day. Happy, Happy on your special day.

Another sunny day in the 80s. The same tomorrow and Friday. Slight chance of rain this evening.
Forecast says cool down starting Friday, but high still in the 70s for the weekend.

I usually skip my Bible homework when I have class on Wed, but not today since I'm going to a Broadway
show Thurs.. I'll see how long I'll stay to watch since they discourage kids under 13 because of language.
At home, I change the channel when something has too much bad language. You can't do that at a show :)

Wilde Woman, I'm sorry you can't have a Boston cream pie.

robin, the guys probably mow to get paid.

Happy Birthday, ShaunP. Enjoy the day.

Happy birthday to ShaunP.

Wilde Woman, posting that kind of dessert was safe for me. For some reason, that kind of thing has never appealed to me. But it does look pretty.

Robin, better to get a yard over-mowed than not enough. Mine was way, way late coming the last time so it will look messy all winter.

Poirot, you could be right about mowing to break up the fallen leaves. The leaves I have are small ones (pecan, hackberry, mesquite, and Chinese Pistachio) but when my lawn gets mowed late I have long grass/weeds that get mowed down (up to knee high), then they turn brown and lie there all winter long. Really ugly. I was contemplating trying to rake some of it up before my arm went bad.

Sexton, I hope you are well today.

I finally got an MRI scheduled. It took some hounding on my part and I learned that I had indeed been put aside and forgotten so good thing I kept at it. Ordinarily I wouldn't but this is not something I can ignore. Appointment is for 8:00 tomorrow morning, not at the closer town across the river, where my doctor is, but at my Walmart town, 40 miles one way. It's insanely hard for me to get up and get to something that far away at such an early hour. Even harder for my niece, who has about two hours of animal chores every morning first thing. But I wasn't in a position to quibble about it. Also, that's the town where my truck is in the shop and we need to bring it home. The guy my niece had lined up to help her do it went back to a full time job so he had to back out. She doesn't want me to try to drive but we don't have any choice. She'll drive the truck home and I'll drive my car, which is considerably more comfortable to manage.

I'm going to see Beetlejuice the musical. I didn't like first movie so I'll see how this goes.
I can go home at intermission if I don't like it.

Am in a bit of a quandary. Just mine......but.....I have 2 daughters and 3 grands. I am thinking about my engagement and wedding rings. Total is 1 larger diamond......and 8 smaller ones. Used to be nine, lost one, replaced it, fell out and lost again short time later. Do not want to be buried with the rings.........and had thought of earings for the grand daughters....which would be 6. Leaving just two left, plus the larger one..........and just two daughters. I do have two nieces. (No, there are no males). So I could have the two put into lockets, or heart shape pendants for them........but cannot figure out/decide about the larger diamond. Any suggestions? (yes am just wanting to gift from warm hands)

Thanks, all, for the bday wishes! I spent the day at school with a bunch of enthusiastic high schoolers who decorated the choir room with balloons and birthday signs, then ran a callback audition rehearsal with middle school kids for our winter musical Seussical Jr. Then out to dinner with dad and brother. Here’s to 46! Hope you all are well, and I look forward to being able to post more often on holiday breaks.

Poirot, would it be equitable to put the two small ones into one pendant for one daughter or niece, and the bigger one in another pendant for the other daughter or niece? I like your idea. I had a ring from a grandmother, fairly large diamonds. Had earring made for my sister with some of them. Thought I'd do something for myself with the others but it never got done. We were broke one time and I had to sell them.
