10/21/24 - Donuts and National Apple Day

Good late morning all.... the summary is up. I over slept then it was a long really good show so it took some time to write up.
HB has recovered from whatever it was that attacked him Saturday night into mid day Sunday..... he's off at PT, we are going to vote this afternoon. States all have different rules and this state is the most bizarre, no League of Women's pamphlet with all of the races, judges, propositions included mailed to your house OR available online. No central location to find the information, it's weird. Both CA and AZ had this information available. Be informed but dang we are going to make it challenging for you...... Guess it is cheaper if you don't send the information out....
rf I hope you have an easier shift today. Does Apple Pie count as an apple product?

Another sunny day in the 80s. Where oh where is fall?
I'm staying in this afternoon to work on studies. I plan to be outside a little on Tuesday.

Good afternoon everyone. Had a trip to a school on a college campus in the mountains. The leaves there are finally pretty reds, oranges, and yellows. Here, we mostly have leaves turning brown and falling to the ground. Even the maples aren't red this year.
I didn't get much sleep last night with my throbbing thumb. I almost dozed off on the ride today. No, I wasn't driving.
I saw that piece on CBS yesterday morning. I kept saying "That's WW's pigeon statue".
I'll be going back to the apple orchard this Wednesday afternoon after I get done at my school. Casework is taking clients, and they need sighted people to guide them and read signs / labels.

Winter has come.......we are getting fluffy white stuff that doesn't stick to the ground right now. Just today and through part of the night then it's back to sunny days but come on!!!!!! Just once It'd be nice to have Halloween when it's FALL not winter. LOL!Have a good day everyone!!
Oh, gosh, sorry the weather is not cooperating, Muzza.......but you know.......Trick or Treat! Still a while to go, maybe a "treat" is still in store.......I know after we moved up here, was a huge shock to get a "white" Halloween.
