Friday night football was exciting as the team won!!! it was a blow out 52 to 7 sad to be shallow and say as I've sat on those bleachers for weeks being the team with 7 it feels better being the winning team..... then after the game the band had their "glow night" performance.... the band has glow sticks taped to their bodies lights out you only see the outlines.... it was pretty cool.....
This morning we were up and to the post office HB had to send a certified return requested letter off and I had my weekly letters to the kids to mail then we were off to a costume contest..... Vinnie's day care is having a costume contest a friend of mine sent me her dog's costume, he had passed and he was the same size and Vinnie. I'll post pictures from the contest once they are posted to Facebook....

It's in the 70s today with sun. I put the geranium back out since the leaves are turning yellow. I'll bring
it back in later.

I plan to work a little outside this afternoon.

robin, I'm glad the team won. How has HB been doing lately?

Been a hectic week, the dog may or may not have eaten some sugar free mints and had to be run to the emergency vet,(he is doing just fine), that same dog then rolled all over some animal poo in the backyard twice and had to get bathed before I left for work twice this week (he is lucky he's cute, or I would make him pay rent:)). Finally getting cool weather up here in the Chicago area, so it finally feels like fall. Been working 16 hour shifts this week because we run seasonal events at the Parks Department and tonight is fourth and final night of our Haunted Hayride, so after tonight I will be able to cuddle up with a blanket and binge this weeks episodes.

Those glo sticks are something else. Really makes for a pretty sight.
Had a home owners meeting this morning...........I thought it was to discuss something changing but it was a "meet and greet" some new neighbors, as the last of the new houses evidently were sold. I thought they should have had name tags for us all..........But they did give us lists of all the owners & addresses, so that was nice.
Don't know why they made it for early a.m. They now have added a lunch date for mid-January...........They just did not think of snow, cold, etc.
