Too many choices. Maybe we should skip the meals and only have dessert today.

Now those are much better views than what I will be getting when it gets light out in an hour or so........as, woe is me........it's all white out there!. Yep, it snowed, no grass, rooftops covered, the street & patio all wet, but everything else is white! Covered in that cold, icy white stuff. Tis about 36, so should gain a few degrees, hopefully. Put off taking the garbage to the dumpster yesterday, figured I would do it this a.m. Yuk now. Depressing is to put it mildly, tis only mid-October.

Please take care walking in the white fluffy stuff. I bet Mother Nature made snow so beautiful that people are unprepared for the mess, slush, slippery, freezing cold results one of Her inventions gave to us all. (well except us people in the deep south, we just have the hurricanes). Guessing there is weather situations no matter where you are, but snow? Nah that is just too cold for the gentler of creatures. So my suggestion to you is to please just stuff the trash somewhere and don't go out at all.
:head scratch:

It was in the 30s when I took my walk this morning. It's sunny and in the 80s this afternoon.
It's like spring with wind blowing. I raked a lot of leaves this afternoon since rain in forecast
tomorrow evening.

I took time today and put my electric blanket on the bed since next week it will be in the 30s at night.
I probably should have waited since it will be in the 50s tonight. Since it's so warm, I may have ice
cream later.

Yesterday, another house in my neighborhood got a new roof. I was surprised that house got one
since the house got a new roof less than 7 years ago.

robin, have a good trip.

Poirot, I hope you didn't have to go out today since it snowed.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Oh dear I did not form a picture in my mind when I heard that Robbie Coltrane had passed. Thanks so much for posting his picture. I think he was a very good performer. RIP Robbie, you meant a great deal to so many for so long.

Sad there will be no It’s "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown." So many kids and grownups too will be disappointed to not be able to see it unless they have Apple TV and streaming.

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts kat, you are loved and appreciated like all the Mods for all the work you do for us all.

Hey Robin, glad you made it. Our country is huge when you hit the road I am sure.

My son and his family recently moved from Colorado to Naples Fl. area. They made the trip in an old school bus which had been remodeled and they thought they purchased the best vehicle. They wanted the kids to enjoy the trek through the eastern end of the country. Problem was the old bus was a lemon, they had more problems than you can imagine. My son was a mechanic by trade, but even he got very discouraged with that bus. They have it stored in a camping area, and believe me they are paying a huge tab to keep it there. I think he has it about fixed up and will be able to sell it soon.

They are so glad they are living in a very nice home now, and the kids are both students in one of the best rated school systems in all of Florida. It is so nice that we get to see way more of them all now.

I just looked at the Forum page, and Lo and Behold I am the only one here. Guess the old saying is right and I truly do know how to “clear” a room.

Good night everyone. Stay safe please.

Wish I knew the WHY so many programs are going to streaming, rather than regular TV. It feels like TV itself is being taken away from us all. At least free TV as we have known it. Now we have to buy/subscribe to streaming channels, then buy some sort of device or two to enable you to watch on the TV rather than computer.
What happened? Did cable, DISH & DIRECT TV cause networks to panic or something. Get jealous? Decide they want a piece of the pie, too?
Remember, once upon a time, when you could only get 2 or 3 clear channels on your TV, and you were happy about it? You watched BOZO the clown, Mickey Mouse Club, and liked it. Marcus Welby, My 3 Sons, Happy Days, Twilight Zone, & a lot more. Hey, even some of the commercials were enjoyable. I remember Jim Moran, the Courtesy Man. After all these years. He sponsored late night movie, with just one commercial in the middle of the movie. It was longer but well worth it, today there is one every 10 minutes in a 2-3 hr. movie. His auto business did very well in the Chicago area.
O.K. I already pay for DISH (cannot get local TV here in rural America_), In a weak moment, I paid the $20 for a year to watch Days. NO, I watch nothing else on that streaming thing, Do you honestly think I want to get handcuffed to my computer all day? Nope. Days had better think of something better by next year, or they will lose even more viewers, as will NBC.

P.S. I truly want some of those yummy desserts above. LOL

Poirot, I completely agree with you about the tv. But unfortunately, I think society has changed too much for them to ever go back. Lots of people don't much use any devices besides their cell phones. I guess they must watch things on the go. My daughter-in-law calls cell phones, "pocket gods." I think it's a pretty good description.
