I find it hard to believe the lights might be seen from here but I'll have to try to find out what time to look. May be futile anyway. We've had partly cloudy skies today for the first time in weeks. Don't know about tonight.
I loved that cow ghost clip from yesterday.
Sexton, I hope your day off is going good.
Kat, if it's possible for me to see the lights, surely you could see them from your location. What they're saying here is to go out and snap pictures toward the north, the see it on your phone camera. It shows up better on pictures than first hand. I probably wouldn't bother with that. Why not just come here and look at what someone else, like Muzz or others, got on their phone? A picture is a picture.
Robin, don't get me started on outside lights being on all night. It's called "light pollution" here in Texas. Nearly all the rural people have them now.
Poirot, at least you got to see a few sprinkles--of light, that is.
Squirrel, well fiddlesticks! Not good to take away someone's fun mental health day. That town where the US oil industry originated sounds so nice. It's fun to visit towns that have preserved their original character. A town in the next county over from here has a town with the original frontier flavor.
I found out my truck fix is going to be very expensive. Whole front end is completely worn out (brake pads, tie rods, etc.) and they haven't even found out what's making the engine stall. It's not doing it for them, wouldn't you know.....
