Kris, that's a lot to fit into one afternoon. I hope you enjoy your wood burning warmth, and that you have something else to back it up.
Kat, I wonder if you'll ever get completely rid of all the concrete. Cleaning up little bits of stuff like that is very tedious and just when you think you've gotten it all, some more shows up.
Robin, if that forecast is for tonight or tomorrow, it will be Christmasy indeed! Whether that's a good thing or not is in the mind of those who have to deal with it. Be safe. Sleet and ice are the worst!!
Wilde Woman, I wonder why it happens like that--we fall asleep on couch, love seat, or chair but then are wide awake as soon as we get into bed. Insomnia is so miserable!
Poirot, I often wake up way too early, only to eventually fall back asleep until way too late. It sure throws off getting anything done for the day. Unless you're getting something important in the mail, maybe just skip going to the mailbox? I would skip today myself except my niece stopped by and aired up two tires on my old clunker truck for me. It hasn't been driven in about two weeks so I really do need to drive it at least for a little ways. She reminds me all the time I need to do that. It's amazing the old thing even starts at all, considering the shape it's in. It's been through some very hard times and has suffered much, mostly at my hands, though unintentional.
Wilde Woman, ordinarily I will do what I can to avoid parties, festivals, etc., but a sleep festival is something I could thoroughly enjoy!
Now I have to put on some jeans and wrestle Old Brown to the mailbox and back. Then I have to cook. It was sunny and nice this morning but clouds have moved in and covered the sky with what looks like blizzard conditions but I don't think we have any precipitation in the forecast. I hope not. The forecasts have been confusing. I don't think it's supposed to turn real cold until Sunday night. It just looks cold and wintry outside.
I just got an Amazon delivery. They were using a U-Haul truck. This time of year you never know what kind it will be.
